U know those tires reminds me of thise stomper tires from the 80s lol 😆 thanks for sharing 👍
I've got the 3005. Need to add some weight on the front. I'm thinking of borrowing some parts from other diecasts
Great little machine 😉👌
Man you got great ideas! what program for 3D design do you use? I would love a dump truck body like those smaller cab over dump trucks
Thanks a lot ! I've remixed the canopy in tinkercad, I've used someone else's design, scaled it down and added the screw standoffs to mount it on the chassis
Really ingenious! The placement of the battery seems essential, but I can't quite picture myself using this little thing without a shell.
Have you improved the new 3D shell? Will you be providing a file for it?
And what type of lubricant do you use? I have silicone lubricant, would that work?
Yes, I've just received new, lighter and thinner 100 and 110mah lipos, I've already printed some newer versions of the canopy. Will share them on thingiverse as soon as it will be done :)
@@flowrfpv Hi! I saw that you uploaded the file for the shell, thank you! With the 110mAh battery, does the autonomy take a hit, right? And about the tires, I noticed you're using 'flex resin,' could you give me a bit more guidance on this point?
Smaller battery should help with bringing the CG lower to the ground, which helps a bit when climbing, operation time is still long enough. Tires need to be as soft as possible to get any grip, they are easier to print on SLA printer due to small size... that's why resin. Stock, silicon narrow tires are still grippier tho@@KrOmatoniX
Have you tried leaving the original battery in place and instead adding weight to the front?
I received my 3010 today and added 4.4g to the front. It was the best value for climbing everywhere. But on descents, it would dive and the rear would go over the top. I added 1.94g to the back to fix this issue. Then I ended up weighting the front wheels by 0.5g each. Right now, it's perfect. But it looks ugly 🙃
And regarding the 3D-printed tires, wouldn't it be possible to add a thin strip of rubber on top to regain the original grip?@@flowrfpv
I've tried that in this video, although I wanted to remove as much weight as possible from the top to improve sideways stability@@KrOmatoniX
