TEACH App
Teach AP App is the official app of the Department of Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh for classroom observations and support to teachers.
This app is to be used by the designated Teacher Mentors to observe and record the data from classroom observations as per the TEACH Tool. Only
those Teacher Mentors who got certified in the implementation of the TEACH Standardized classroom observation tool will be authorized to use this
app. The data collected will be analyzed and will be used to give customized support and mentorship to the teachers at a classroom level by the
Teacher Mentors. It will also enable data-based decision-making and professional development of teachers at a state level.
The app is designed by Leadership For Equity and developed by Samanvay Research and development foundation in collaboration with World Bank and
Samagra Shiksha, Govt. AP.
The TEACH AP app user manual has detailed navigation steps to use the app.
The changes made in the current version of the app is listed below,
1. New teacher registration feature is disabled.
2. Timer for taking snapshots is removed.
3. A new list of questions are added to capture the usage of ICT equipment in schools. This checklist to be filled after scheduling the next
observation.
Warning: The users please note unless the app is updated and the new version of the app is being used, the observations done will not be reflected.
This is an issue even the technical team will not be able to resolve. Hence all the observers should update the app before the first observations begin
