Here ya go, a video of Ru explaining how difficult it is to go-go dance in 1988 after a night of go-go dancing, there's no way you can she didn't pay her dues. You are right in that she definitely doesn't perform like she did back in those days but when you get as rich as she is the desire to perform in a corset and stiletto heels seems to dwindle. At least for her it did. At 3:15 in the video you can see Ru having some massive cliff hangers. She'd never allow a video like this to be shared today. I bet she doesn't even remember this one.
