This was very neat to see! Thank you for sharing! My boyfriend left to Nicosia for a few weeks from the U.S. and it was neat to ride along with you to get an idea of what he is getting to see and experience there too.
Thank you for sharing this. I live in the TRNC and I'm fed up with the stories / propaganda about how hard it is to cross the border and what will happen to you if you do. I cross many times and so do so many Greek Cypriots without any trouble.
Thank you for your recording i been in Lebanon and Turkey and Greece I think Cyprus is combination between those countries But one thing notice is why the majority of people are foreigners special in south where is the indigenous people !!!
Yeah, that’s true about the costal cities. But there are a lot of locals in Nicosia, I actually made some comments about that in my South Nicosia video.
@@artis_guru I was there for just a short visit a few weeks ago. And yeah, definite tension about this lol. I visited the Turkish side from the Greek side and the passport check guy (on the Greek side) glared at me, a woman there with him wouldn't even look at me. Shh. They act like the north side doesn't exist...
Rome2Rio. But in Northern Cyprus it wasn’t too useful. There were also some unreliable bits and pieces of information in some local website that I was able to google.
I’m pretty sure I remember correctly, it was exactly here: 35°10'56.5"N 33°21'45.2"E maps.google.com?q=35.1823540,33.3625440&hl=en-IE&gl=ie&entry=gps&lucs=47062720&g_st=ic
Yeah, it was very nice there. If I understood correctly, the citizens of many African countries have visa-free access to Northern Cyprus (unlike to most European countries which are very difficult for them to visit).
@@artis_guru Citizens of the EU or any Schengen states do not need a visa to visit Cyprus. However, other categories of individuals have to apply for a visa when arriving here, which is also a legal requirement for non-EU citizens who want to visit EU states or the Schengen states. Most of these migrants or asylum seekers have come through Turkey, gone to Northern Cyprus, then crossed to the south.

Bold move to ask the south side for a bus to go to the north side!
Yes, haha! And it even didn’t occur to me at that time…😆

Interesting.... and so many africans as well. Didn't know North Cyprus attracted them. Very multicultural.

I read that there are many migrants from Africa and the Mid-East who landed there.
True. 👍
