The guitar & Taj, are one. John Mayer, comes to mind, Stevie Ray, Edward Van Halen. Joe Bonamassa. It just irradiates out thru their souls. Some are just blessed with God Given talents. . I think he's got a bright future. Seems he can play just about anything, but I think he shines most doing blues, & his voice will keep getting stronger/better. I absolutely love Chris Stapleton & Tennessee Whisky, & his rendition is one of my TF "Wow" moments. I'm sure it's been given the CS stamp of approval. I think he also kills the guitar on Purple Rain, another "wow" moment, & Prince approved . If Taj put out an all blues record, I'd buy it, in a second.

I remember picking up the guitar for the first time back in 1981. I would see all of the amazing players of the day and I thought to myself that there was no way, regardless of how much I practiced, that I could ever play like them. Turns out that I was right but you know the thing is that I have loved playing guitar so much over these many years that I wouldn't trade a single minute of practice for one moment of being on stage. Moral of the story folks is that Taj is exceptional but don't let his gift discourage you from your own path. There is just so much food for the soul between you and your instrument and while you may only ever play for yourself, that time together will become increasingly precious.
