Hmm… that’s not the “original” intended purpose. But I could kinda tell people would use it that way. I still highly encourage people to learn to read.
I’ve been playing piano on and off for about 4 years and try to learn one song or piece each year based off of what I’ve heard that year. This has made that so much easier. The part at 23:56 is a killer and is a killer and I can’t quite get up to full tempo without ruining this section.
I only recorded the original not the new one (czcams.com/video/UfW_nxUmr2Y/video.htmlsi=pC4nH9VHIMVSa8QZ). As is, it’s already way too long. Also, if you use my piano lesson videos to figure out the notes, the piece will be way too difficult. Definitely try to learn how to read music. These lessons are designed to help people overcome pain points.
In Section E, I find the fingering much more complicated than it needs to be. I personally am using both of my hands to very effortlessly play the "left hand part" and the few notes above are easily reachable with my right hand. Also, just before entering Section F where you play the bass note 4 times, I personally drop the 4th note. It's much more difficult to jump up right after and personally I don't think it sounds good at all.
@@PancakeTAS It is true that as you advance in piano, fingering becomes less important since you need to be able to play the same things with all kinds of fingering. So if you’re able to play it “either” way with ease, you’ll be fine. Also note that Animenz designates this as an Etude, the point is to develop your fingers. The 4 bass notes, skipping the 4th is the cheaper way out. To me, that’s part of the point of the “etude”. It serves to improve your techniques. For example, jumping down 5th in 16th.
@@RichardYangPiano hahaha sure, in my free time I play unravel but i couldn’t really get past the long piano runs after the chorus, some pieces im also interested in is “This game” and “only my railgun” 😅 but for now I want to finish learning my first full piece but thanks for the suggestions 🫠👍
Although I understand people want to use this to learn notes, that’s not what these videos are intended for. These are to help with strange fingering and stuff. Gotta learn how to read.
@@rocko0638 I can be contacted here btw: www.theyangfamily.ca/contact/ If you have the official version, I’d be so interested. I’ve bought everything from Animenz’s store. And I got pretty much everything. This is one of the very few I couldn’t find.
Perfect work as always. I love how u always point out the important techniques to learning a piece.😊 btw, i really want to try this piece out, but my hands r extremely small. My right hand can barely reach a ninth😅 would u say that it is possible? Thx!
I lost track whom I’ve shared this to: czcams.com/video/p8ZRcOWitwM/video.htmlsi=hvpTY8tA8w0sRh0N Barely 9th as well. So I did state in the comments that my hands are borderline acceptable here, the margin of error is too small. But definitely doable, just need to put in some extra work.
Alr, I will take that into account. I am definitely going to buy the sheet, feeling confident especially cause of this guide. Also, would u say that aninenz's butterfly is harder? Thanks again!
Pretty similar. Butterfly might be a bit more difficult. This one there are only a few variations. Butterfly is faster but fewer big jumps. Btw, I couldn’t find the official sheet, not sold in NA, I only have the transcribed version. If you manage to find the real thing please share.
Yes! That’s one of the difficult parts. RH octaves are fine. But when you need to create room for your LH to go under, too little space, LH won’t fit, lifting too high, it breaks the octave flow. So you need to experiment this and find the right height to lift and keep a good balance.
Wow, your tip to play the first chorus as if you’re jumping instead of connecting makes it so much easier 🙏
Good tips throughout including easier fingering.
I just want to say I really appreciate you teaching me so many of my favorites animenz pieces. I wish that you will continue doing this ❤
Because of your comment, I will!
Yes! Excellent! Been eagerly awaiting this. Thank you 🙏
Niceeee was waiting for this!! Really useful for people who can’t read sheets ;)

To go full tempo you must go slow first. There must exist a tempo, no matter how slow, at which you can play perfectly. That’s what you need.
THANK TOUUU!! Finally FINALLYYYYY
New to channel? A lotta good stuff in my playlist (Animenz, Piano Lessons).
so nice! Can you do a piano lesson on My Dearest ( arr Animenz )? I really want a lesson to play that arrangement!

@@RichardYangPiano it's okay, by the way thank you very much!

@@PancakeTAS oh, just FYI, my LH plays no different from RH. Putting something on the RH doesn’t make it easier, it’s the same to me.
Awesome, however I want to finish learning my Current piece before I move on 😅
Which is?
@@RichardYangPiano Animenz “Brave Shine” Im still stuck on the last chorus 😅😂
@@Sasukesanimation that’ll take a while.
Spice things up. Add a piece.

Nice!
Great lesson on this piece but the video with your performance disappeared. And also do you still want the sheet for Butterfly?
My performance is for Friday. As member you got the lesson ahead of public release. I did release a short on the finale.
You have the official sheet for Butterfly?? Animenz’ store doesn’t sell it for North America. I only have the transcribed version from PianoIV.
I have the pdf of 1000+ arrangements of Animenz@@RichardYangPiano
