Oh boy, this feels scarily personal! Moved home during my divorce and so grateful, but man has the relationship with mom suffered. We have very different approaches to life after divorce (and in general) she has a pervasive lack/scarcity mindset which has impacted my energy and willingness to put myself out there personally and professionally.
Finally back on my feet enough to move out (which feels like a miracle!!) but juggling her fears with my desire preserve our relationship is so dang heavy.
