I bought 2 maddens in the past decade. NCAA was always my favorite. I will buy this game. I have no intention to buy Madden again. I think there are plenty of people like me.

The hype doesn't outweigh the amount of NFL fans compared to college lol. People in the industry know more about this than you I promise, they have to understand the projections. Both games will do well but the NFL has way more fans, thus Madden sells more.

85 players per team covers nearly a 4-deep depth chart. You’d think that’d get most of the players that will see the field (assuming they opt in).

Uhhh i think this game can get more sales than Madden. So many people have stopped playing Madden and waiting for another football game.
Madden sales never decline. Just cause some people online say they've stopped playing doesn't mean more people aren't replacing them every year. Madden's engagement is way up, the NFL is simply too big. Madden will always outsell NCAA because of this.

So true, love the fact that so many players have opted into the game, this will be better than Madden. All they have to do is recreate NCAA 14 with better graphics and an updated roster.
My favorite football game of all time is NCAA 14 I pray RTG and dynasty is awesome because I have played way too much of 14 and it's time to give it its Viking funeral
I actually like NCAA 12 more than 14, everyone just likes 14 because it was the last one.
You can also go to your local game stop and pre order it you can put 5 dollars up then pay the rest later they will only keep the copy for 48 hours then put it on the shelves
I've been using this game's release as my excuse as to when i'll be buying a current gen console, and looks like time is finally running up after 4 years 😂

Chris Fowler is one of my favorite commentators love the emotion he brings to the college and some nfl games now on ESPN same way i think of gus Johnson because I would be the same way I would bring the same emotion to meet the moment that's why Chris Fowler is really good at it and also gus Johnson tho he gets a little bit out of control

This is gonna be insane! I am super excited about this and I really think this is gonna draw more attention than Madden! 10 years ago when we had NCAA 14, just thinking we would no longer get another football game again, shows u how committed they were to this game
Will there be a coach mode where you call plays and see your team execute? They had that in previous ncaa games

Hopefully they add more customization options like pads above the knees etc.
I wonder if they will have an ultimate team like in the game. I think it’d be cool to build a team of some of the past greats
College has always been better
As someone who hasn't bought madden for over 5 years now. Am so hyped for this and am not even American, although I do follow the college games on TV.
all im worried about is the gameplay running back mechanics, the wr and db mechanics also the o-line is very important to me for this game and real tackling.
If college football don’t produce like we expected it too. This will be the death of EA.

I really enjoyed NCAA 13. I'll be keeping my eye on this.
The feature that I love the most about the previous version of the game was that you could export the graduating and leaving students class into Maddien and you can import it into Madden. That's what needs to be done here
How are they gonna upgrade the player ovr each week if think I’d be so hard to look at 130ish teams at each player to see who goes up or down

6 15 on the clip thing in the trailer idk what its called but if you flip it would be 7-15 and that is around what they used to release the game so 7-15-24 could be the day the game comes out
I can’t wait. Upset that ultimate team will be here though. Hopefully it doesn’t take away from the quality of the modes without micro transactions. I hope they know we’re all here for dynasty mode

This game will sell more than Madden. EA really just doesn’t know. This might even kill Madden.
Madden will never die as long as it's the only NFL game. Thinking any non NFL game can kill Madden is silly. The NFL is massive and has way too many fans for that to ever happen.
Eric do you know any working college football rosters on madden 24. Also will Gus Johnson be in the new ncaa game?

It seems like this will be a very heavy ESPN focused game so I highly doubt we get Gus and Joel as they are FOX. I don't see a situation where ESPN would agree to partner with FOX in this capacity, unfortunately. I would absolutely love to have Gus in the booth. That guy's energy is electric.

Hello, I know this may not mean a lot to a lot of you, but I have been playing this series since 2004 on ps 2. I know that Madden has accessibility features that make it possible for me as a blind player to enjoy the different modes. Can anyone confirm if these features will be in the new EA sports college football game?

Something I’ve always wanted in these sports games are highlights from other games around the league during halftime. Or updates at timeouts etc. shoot nhl94 for sega would show other games during intermissions lol bring it back!

Ncaa in-game presentation was allllways better than madden. Even if it’s the sameish gameplay of recent madden, atmosphere and dynasty mode depth could make this a way better overall package. Fingers crossed, don’t forsake us again, Tiburon.

You know what I would like to see eventually in a EA College game is the create a player that's generated by selecting parents. Not sure which madden or college game I saw it used before but it was kinda neat. I think it was Superstar mode on one of the previous maddens you pick your parents then go through drills to level up. I think that would be worth a try plus with some minor implementation of A.I.? How about you create your athlete on the EA site by selecting your parents and select a few options it generates your athlete that you upload to your freshmen class or recruiting class?
That feature was introduced in Madden 06.

Game sales for cfb25 will definitely top madden 24 however in terms of revenue madden will definitely bring in more from its ultimate team
In the process of getting 134 people together to do an online dynasty mode where every university has a person assigned to it. Does anyone know if this will be something that will even be possible?
I hope u can have 134 users, now organizing a league and trying to get everyone to play in a timely manner will be a challenge

if they don’t sell physical copies in Australia, you can still digitally download it. I know they do that sometimes.

The engine is most definitely important and relevant to the type of game you make. Frostbite was developed as an FPS engine not a sports game or simulation style game. That's the concern
It's relevant but this idea that a non FPS game on Frostbite can't be good is also a bad take that many people have.
