    The Philippines supports education and pushes its citizens to become educated and successful! Our teachers are compassionate and dedicated and make sure every student will succeed! It's more fun loving in the Philippines!

    This is interesting. In my experience, the education in the Philippines is more strenuous than the USA. The instructors there are more diligent on average.
    Although I didn't do my post-secondary education in either country, I know several people who echoed the same sentiment.

    The Philippines educational system makes sense. It is easy because you pay attention to your studies, and the content are geared towards understanding the main and important ideas.

    Yes your country needs to change their educational system and should adopt to new generation..to keep updating..it should be more friendly to students to learn and enjoy studying and make it easy for them. Because we need to educate the students and understand them better bcoz that way they grow and learn and they can explore and soar high. Students should be motivated and not being oppressed by the standard.

    You must R E A D! You will even do better. It’s your frame of mind. Thenenerg6bin Philippines is to hav3 good relationships with people and study. Philippines is about staying in school. You can pass the entrance exam in many universities, but can you pass your subjects? That’s what I noticed with my nieces. They didn’t perform similarly. One graduated within 4 years and made it to top 20 in national exam to be certified in her field. The other one took ten years because she worked full time in call centers... by the time she finished her BA, she’s already in high management positions! The last one is still taking classes in business but is now managing my farm... deciding which fertilizers or other chemicals to buy based on quality, quantity and price. SO, getting into universities is not as hard, but passing your subjects, and persevering could be a BIGGER challenge. Enjoy the Philippines and make friends.

    It's the first time am running into your channel. You really are right, am also studying in the Philippines and just like you said it's really easy to get into a university here unlike back home where you really have to pass you know. It's like their intentions is for you to really fail.

    Yeah some course (subjects) like the minor ones are easy to pass. Just listen to the lectures of your professors and just study their PowerPoints you can easily pass that course (subject). The thing is, the professors are actually teaching the most important things, they skip the redundant concepts or the things that you will not even need to know. They make it easy for the student to understand complex concepts for them to pass the course. The education system here in the country is somehow pro-students. They even give you 5 exams (chances) to pass the course. That's what I think, why most students from Africa tend to see that it is more easy to pass the courses here in the Philippines because they are used to just one exam (chance) which means you either pass or fail. And that's not good at all. It is putting too much pressure to students. Studying should be fun and enjoyable and stress-free. Just my two-cents. Great vlog btw. 🙂

    The exams in Philippines is not easy too but they give you a lot of chances to make up from the 1st exam, the 2nd, the 3rd and finally the 4th and if you fail, the 5th is a especial exam to students that did not do well. Pass the 5th otherwise back to the same class next year. Glad you like to study in Philippines. Are leaving after graduation?

    I don't understand why Nigeria Universities makes it hard for the students where they come to study and learn except those who aims to be a scientist which they should have an exemplary capabilities. I believe the effective way for a good education is to motivate the students and at the same let them enjoy their studies.

    In the Philippines theory becomes actual application. Knowledge and skills are thought. You need to be alert. Redundancy is not being recognized.

    I don't know but I prefer written exam than objectives. It's more easy, you don't need to review, all you need is to listen and understand the whole topic. I hate objective, 400 questions in 1 semester is insane.

    I don’t understand an education system who’s goal is for students to fail. Education should be a system where the students are being moulded. It is important that their studies and learning have to be retained in their minds and actions naturally. A country’s educational system needs to make a goal where all their youth has to be successful, educated and will someday be a contributor & not a burden to the nation. Life is complex, some might learn fast but some might learn slow. What’s important is that they will have the opportunity to learn and choose what they want to learn,whenever they want. Being forced to depend one’s studies and future in one exam seems absurd.

    I don't understand the rules on the JAMB and the Post JAMB! Why is your government making it arduous or really hard for Nigerian students to get to a university! I don't see any value in making education onerous to its citizens! Isn't it that the government should make every effort for its citizens to be productive as soon as possible so that they can contribute to the economy?! That's crazy man!

    What are you talking about? Top 3 universities in the Philippines it’s not easy to get in especially the free University. Maybe you talking about not so competitive colleges. I saw you guys went to AMA, Perpetual and so on. Our university is also hard. You should have good grades , pass the entrance exam before they can accept you.

      I think he is talking about the system in their country, like it was created to make students fail. That’s why it is hard. Compare here in Ph where they just have to pass the entrance exam.

    I am curious. If passing the exam in PH schools is much easier than in NG, would it mean that the "quality" of education (or graduates) in PH is subpar compared to NG?

    • @mpotane
      @mpotane Pƙed 3 lety

      No, in our university we also have 40 or 50 passing rate mostly technical programs,. It gets higher if the program has licensure exams you need to pass 90.

    • @ArBay10
      @ArBay10 Pƙed 3 lety +3

      Maybe it's because we have more exams than them? Like we have atleast 4 exams, some schools have 5 exams. It means that our educational system is giving you 5 chances to pass the course everytime. Foreign students from Africa are so used to just one exam, meaning it is just one chance. You either pass or fail that exam. So unlike to their country, they find it more easier here. But that doesn't mean that the graduates are subpar. Well, we have so many professionals working abroad in every field. We are more than qualified plus we can speak English. 🙂

 easy but not compromising the quality of education

    The situation in your country i think is driven by Ego from the people who run the system.., they make it difficult for the students brcause students are the upcoming
 people who are already finished thier college days will says.. I am more intellegent than this upcomiers
 so they giving you a hard time to pass
