The difference between intelligence and wisdom is illustrated perfectly by a physics professor who demonstrates the complex concept of inertia, but also knows that she needs to remind her students not to grab knives by the blade. 😄
Yes. Safety tip is very important.
Facts!
Thats Disinfectioninformation
And you stole it
Just let's them take anything and everything it's unbelievable
thank you~
Hiiiiii
hello
Love your vids
Thank you for finding this video!
My most wholesome channel.
Absolutely love her energy and such a cool experiment! Thank you for sharing!
You are so welcome!
Love her enthusiasm.
Thank you. She really loves science.
This is how i want my physics teacher to be: with a knife, a hammer, a potato, a big smile but most important a thicc russian accent!
Greetings from germany!
Greetings! Dr. Tatiana is from Russia but she lives in the U.S. nowadays.
Love her energy! Have shown this to my kids (9, 13, 17 - and they think she's as cool as I do. We need more of Dr. Tatiana).
Science can be fun for all ages when you've got a great teacher. Be sure to check out our Physics & Engineering Festival. Your kids would love it.
We need MORE Dr.
Tatiana!! I love her enthusiasm and she is fun to watch! Make more videos with her!!!
It is so captivating to watch this. Love your enthusiasm!!!
So glad you enjoyed it!
Her enthusiasm, easygoing nature and thick heavy accent are perfect for youtube science clips. Pleaase can we have more Dr. Tatiana with these fun little experminents?
Энёрша из фан! Спасибо вам 😊
Yes. Plenty more coming.
This Lady had fun doing that. It shows that she loves her job.
I was wondering if anyone knew any videos that deeply explained how this works?
I also loved this video itself. Dr. Tatiana seems very enthusiastic and I just love her energy :}
So like every object with a mass has something called inertia. This prevents something to move, as you can see in accalerating cars. You get pushed in the seats. Thats your inertia. So the potatoes inertia is so big that in this short period of time it wont move it just stays where it is but the knife however will get deeper and deeper. Hope this is kind of understandable
Her enthusiasm is intoxicating!
Professor and physicist, Julius Miller. 1960's. Also, an enthusiastic professor and demonstrator of the marvel's in simple reality. Thank you so much for continuing to love bringing the wonder and joy of physics to us all..
This blew my mind
We have plenty more where this came from at our Physics & Engineering Festival. We will livestream stuff like this. :-)
Thanks to Daily Dose of Internet I have now an awsome clip to show my students
Hahaha I also came here from DDOI 😁
If we had a teacher like this in every school, physics would be everyone's favourite
I could watch her for hours so much energy from her so passionate and interesting to watch and learn from.
Thank you. We have plenty more content coming your way.
I have come from daily dose of internet to come see the full potato lady video. Love her enthusiasm.
So have I:)
This teacher deserves her own channel
Man I'd love a teacher like her
Come on over. :-)
@@tamuphysastr id love to but i can't. Sorry!
@@slowlylosingmysanity9726 no worries!
that's a fricking huge potato
Russian potato.
I wish i had a teacher like this, i don't know if i would learn anything but it would make classes way more enjoyable
Love the passion

I Love it! ❤
Love your energy! Commenting just so that the algorithm will do its job and share your video with more people!
Appreciate you!
That's so cool!!!!! I had no idea!!!!
Wow Thanks for making the day!
Absolutely brightened my day.
i love her smile 😊
Im in love with this channel, best find of the week.
Glad you're here!
This is incredible!
Thank you!
Love it!
You are fantastic! Thank you!
Thank you!! 😊
YEA SCIENCE
I was really hoping she'd say: "Safety is number one priority."
Tatiana is the best teacher no doubt. She loves her job and is involved which is unfortunately uncommon.
I love this classes
Dr : Next time anyone late in my class, the potato will be you
her smile is so sweet :)
Truly amazing
"No potatoes were harmed in the making of this video."
👍
Thank you.
pretty cool
The way she laughs makes me laugh. It's contagious lol
Oh thats actually pretty cool!
Didnt know that :0
this channel deserve more subscriber really
Agreed! 🙂
Best physics minute lessons in my whole life 😂
Thank you! Plenty more content coming your way.
Subscribed this channel only for her, wanna see more content like this. By the way, I'm not a science background student & I don't understand science stuff so much, but I love science 💙
Great to hear. Anyone can love science! Just got to make it interesting.
This is better than classes
Guys lets push this to trending and let the world know what shy science guys do at home
She is known as the best science teacher of all time! No one else can captivate every students like she does
My inclination would be to model this in terms of static and kinetic friction.

love the subs 😭😭
as a 4th grader i will say this is helping alot
Thus called excellent TEACHER, who doesn't TEACHES but. Helps US to LEARN.

Should be given highest CIVILIAN AWARD
I thought I knew so much. Now I realise I know nothing and I love it
Yes
Very cool! Im thinking of showing this to my student but i have a hard time understanding the physics. Is this the same as the one with dropping a coin on a moving train? The train becomes the knife and the potato becomes the coin?
Cool
This is also how you put an axe head on an axe. It’s called ‘hanging’ an axe. The potato 🥔 demonstrates the principle very clearly.👍
I'm looking for explanation and expected a 7-10 mins long but it was less than a minute 😁
I'm gonna subscribe this channel to learn more cause I have an issue where I'm really curious and can't sleep without knowing how it works
Maybe we can do a more in-depth video of this in the future for you.
@@tamuphysastr Thank you but that simple explanation is enough ☺️, and Thanks you again for making the world better for teaching people to make world better, to be honest people likes you are my heroes 🥰
@@Monkey_D_Luffy56 Aww, thank you.
"LIKE THIS!"
The forestry service sets an axe head onto the handle in the same way.

thank goodness i found a potato stuck in a knife and I wonder how I could retrieve the knife.
Wow :0
Just interesting m8
What would happen if the knife was being held fixed in place, unable to move? Thanks
What is the physics behind it though?
you INSORT the knife to the potato.
The potato didn't get enough time to move.
I mean stayed still in the air.
And the knife going deeper and deeper is like what would happen normally if you just hit it with something and the potato is on a table.
Idk what's it called but that's what I understood
@@MamadNobari 100 points!!
@@fahm8097 inertia
@@fahm8097 inertia. Object that don’t move want to remain stationary and objects that move at a constant velocity want to keep moving in the same direction. That’s why you fall over in a bus when you stand and the bus turns. The bus turns but your body wants to keep moving in the same direction. Thats also why spacecraft keep going. No air so no friction in space.
Please subtitle all her videos with this vibe 🙏👹
in my 40 years of life... i never knew about this...
From playkankan my bro
Potato physics with a knife 🔪 🥔 = FF>☆
I saw this video in a cat meme. I immediately noticed the lecturer’s Russian accent and was not mistaken)
I heard Spiderman Theme here
whatever you do, dont fire her,
she seems likely to become an evil scientist
We would never!
☺️ the lady needs a raise 🔥🔥🔥🇬🇹🇨🇦
how??
Where can I buy such big potatoes???
Thats one really large potato
Офигеть
i don't understand, i don't do physics someone explain💀💀
lol
You do not need hammer nor to touch the potato at all. You only need a fast movement of the knife toward Earth then stop. The gravity will do the rest of the job for you
Does anyone understand how this happened?
No one has explained to anyone in the comments how or why.
So that's how OJ did it.
Bhaji, eh law of inertia hai jo ethe lag rya hai, te first law of motion.

Nah. I am trying to avoid serial killers.
If she ever broke bad 😰 the world wouldn’t be enough.
