So interesting. In my family, dating outside the race is seen as the destruction of the black community. I’ve always been an odd ball because I’m attracted to different races and ethnicities.
That’s interesting in my family dating outside the race was seen as something “”unsafe.” Which I can see both side as it being distructive to the black community and unsafe but I feel like that all comes down to the person you’re dating. Example if the person isn’t willing to understand the struggle that we go through as a community. I think some people of different ethnicities try to down play social issue that we have as a community and that’s toxic. But I’d love to chat more about this with you!
