lmao if I hadn't been filming I probably would've screamed! I hate bugs my family kills them if they see anything. That wasn't a horrible one but omg when I played it back I almost lost my mind! I love the blues even though there's not a lot of variety I love the colors ^_^
"I should just switch...". Yes you should! I, too, was a lefty before the woman taking care of me when I was young forced me to be right-handed (Mummy was so mad). Now I'm fully a righty. I am write with left hand but the switch in my mind was made. And oh yeh....that's a lot of Waterman Blue says the person who had a Blues Edition for Currently Inked in May (😂) but mine were all diferent shades of it. My 2nd Asvine, a V126, will be in my ready-to-receive-it hands by Friday. Was in my cart for seems like a full minute before I clicked the order button. And then I see your video. Ha!
It was a thing once upon a time to make sure your kids were right-handed. My younger brother didn't get the treatment - lucky him! Can't wait to hear what you think of the V126!
Hey Anita, can you believe it is June already! Thank you for sharing! When you find an ink you like, it needs to go in more than one pen for sure haha. I have some favourite pen & ink combos too, and am considering just having them be a pair forever hahaa
@@anitaanglin I haven't tried either but they look great! They look really good in your medium nibs! Sometimes a colour just calls out to you! I am that way with greens haha
New here. I enjoyed your video and subscribed. You do like blues! Your beautiful first pen, the Jinhao 100, reminded me of mine in (Cherry Blossom) Sakura. I did have to tinker with the nib but was able to get a smooth writer out of it. The Majohn (Pilot Vanishing Point copy) has a clip at the nib end to consider not putting a fountain pen nib side down in a shirt pocket or other clip area for fear of leakage. When you clip this pen, you avoid leaks. Some people dislike the clip due to their grip, but I don’t mind it at all. I’m a new subscriber. Keep up the good work!
I love your choices. Esterbrook Raven and Pilot Vanishing Point Matte black are on my wish list. Also, speaking of Diamine have you tried Aurora Borealis. It’s beautiful aqua blue with a red undertone. I think you’ll like it. Also, Robert Oster Cherry Blossom is beautiful too.
Diamine is the best - they make every colour & they are so cheap! You can order them from Cult Pens in the UK & they are app. $5 for a 30 ml bottle. Which is around $3 in US dollars. Their inks are extremely well behaved & 95% of their shimmers are really reliable. I also love Wearingeul, Robert Oster & Vinta plus some inks of many other brands 😁
I need to save my coins and place a large order with Cult Pens...I need to stop being impulsive and plan for it. Love love Diamine - such a good value for well-behaved inks.
