There are a few travel companies in Bangalore which provide services and guide you throughout the trip. You can register in any of those companies if you would like to simplify the planning process for the trip.(Link in Description) Most of the travel companies would take you to Samse. From there the ride continues in a jeep to Mullodi; which serves as the homestay.
The route is surrounded by hills and streams giving you amazing views throughout. The local drivers are used to these rough conditions and are skilled enough to safely drop you at the destination. This 6 km jeep ride costs around 700 rupees(which would be paid by the travel company if you travel with them). From the home stays the distance to the trek starting point is around 15 km. I'm not sure about the exact entry fee price but it is nominal.
