Here's the thing. United were obviously tired and Fulham controlled periods of the game. We could see that. But Utd are famous for fighting to the end and coming back. We made a clean break, cross the ball, the shot is going in, it would be 1-1 and we'd be on a roll. But a player used his hand to prevent a fair goal. My point is this: even with 11 on the field that goal would have fired up Utd, as always, and they'd be storming the Stretford End and win it. Fulham just lost the plot and thought they were dead set going to win because they'd gotten on top of a team that played midweek - for a while- and out keeper had to make a couple of brilliant saves. But he's part of the team, right? If he makes great saves, you still aren't scoring against us. I think Fulham had had a great season, Peraera was doing well, and I was a big Mitrovic fan. But now they just look like amateurs. If they think they had that game in the bag at any time, then they're just plain dumb and can't have watched many OT games. And don't think other teams won't bait the hell out of Mitrovic from now on, because they will. GGMU!

Fulham manager angry they didn't get a penalty for Mitrovic's intentional dive is no excuse for getting himself sent off. As a manager you have to set examples, and the example he set was appalling. If you can't control yourself you won't be able to control your team - as we saw. For their petulant behaviour, and to dissuade others from such behaviour, I hope the FA hit them hard. ALL teams get on the wrong side of decisions, ALL of them, fans laugh when it goes against their opponents and cry when it goes against them, but in this match, everything that went against Fulham was deserved. They had the chance and blew it because of their own shortcomings, not the ref's.

The red cards were justified. An outfield player will get an instant red card if stops a goal bound shot with his hand. Sancho' s shot was going in and Willian punched the ball away so red card all day long.
Mitrovic shoved the ref which is instant red card, and then was threatening him and probably would've headbutted him if he wasn't pulled away.
Both red cards as per the laws of the game.
Marco Silva clearly said something insulting towards the ref and so was dismissed as well.
