- Welcome back to another Reyn Goes Fishing vlog. Got some really positive feedback on my first video so really appreciate all of you! Went for a quick Pau Hana session on the East side of Oahu. Only caught small kine rubbah. Still super fun to get out, hope you enjoy!

You have a really good vibe about you, Reyn! Yes, I've tried using toau as bait a couple of times. I filleted them at the beach, then I cut it into strips, and I used that as bait. I did not catch anything with it, except an eel, but I'll continue trying. Looking forward to more of your videos!

Before I ever caught a toau, I thought it wasn’t a good eating fish because it was an invasive. But after I read the comments of many people on the Fishing and Dunking facebook group who said it was good eating, I decided to try it and it tasted good. But I catch it mainly to give it to my cat. He’s crazy about it.

I'd rather have a couple Dozen of the same size Toau you landed then a couple Good Size Omilu's...their awesome Deep fried or prepared blackbean steamed style...So Ono!
