Polygoon: the sound of the Netherlands

This year, the Dutch newsreels Polygoon celebrates its hundredth birthday. Polygoon captivated the Dutch audience with news from home and the world. The voice of Philip Bloemendal narrating the stories became its signature. In the sixth piece of video editorial, created by the Netherlands Institute for Sound & Vision for the Crafted project, Ron Haanschoten, sound technician of the Polygoon bulletin takes you through her exciting career and his collaboration with Philip Bloemendal.
