No we need to wake up and open our eyes.
Police brutality is real, but Kaepernick is a fraud.
Why when we talk about Colin Kaepernick, we talk about what he wants us to take about, him playing in the NFL or he sacrificed something.
Why aren't we talking about the protest, rallies, marches Kaepernick's never conducted nor been a part of?
Okay, he shouldn't have to do that because he donated money to some organizations. But why not vigorously speak to local, up to national officials. Where are the meetings with city council members, Senators, either of the President (Obana or Trump), Governors, Mayors, Chiefs of Law enforcement, etc? Where are they?
Why is HE hiding behind a retweet, when he DID NOT KNEEL against police brutality. He knelt because a White man, Nate Boyer (Ex-military and Ex-NFL player), told Kaepernick to kneel TO RESPECT THE MILITARY.
Remember, Kaepernick was sitting, pouting on the sideline because he wasn't used in the Preseason.
For someone to have been analogized to MLK, Rosa Parks, and Malcolm X, I don't see the real follow through like we saw in those heroes (and heroines).
We should be talking about police brutality, George Floyd, Ahmand Aubery and etc, not Fraudpernick.

With him donating money, what changed after Colin Kaepernick's donations? He's a large public figure, with a huge platform. That's the best he can do is character build by paying for sympathy and empathy, so he can continue to be a martyr?
      WAKE UP.
(Metaphorically) I'm not the kind of person that gets excited when someone say they love me and buy me stuff. I need that person to show me, they love me by doing the real work.

@@Heaxrrtforriaa But if you understand how large platformed charities work, they donate to inspire people to donate back to their organization.
Know your rights organization was created to get his $1million back.
After Kaepernick donates money to legal funds for some protestors, that initiative will prompt people to give back money lost and more into his pockets, to do what character build.
For me, the real work is grassroots. Kaepernick knelt on grass, but got back up to talk about Fidel Castro as a positive image to the police brutality. When in truth, Fidel Castro did to Cuban people as US Police have done to Black people. I can go on and on, but wake up.
Kaepernick is out of touch and a fraud to the cause. He's just a image, piggybacking off of what happened to Floyd in 2020, and what he was told to do by a White man 4 years ago. Out of touch.

Someone please enlighten me how taking a knee can be disrespectful to anyone or anything. That's beyond disrespectful.

You guys are arguing stupidity. It should never be okay for a billionaire to blackball his employees for their political views. They could have just implemented a mandatory stand rule like the Nba. Instead they politicized this too much and made it a thing to make an example out of that Kaepernick kid. I haven’t watched football for years because of it. I won’t watch or click on anything nfl because it feels disgusting to support these people financially. My kids aren’t allowed to like football. The nfl is disgusting. And don’t argue with trolls online trying to frame this as white vs black. Now this is simply about freedom of speech and if your bosses can punish you for not holding the same political beliefs as them. I don’t agree with all Kap’s views, but I respect a man who gives away his money to good causes. I don’t respect the nfl owners. #boycottNFL

  • @ChonseeTV

Your timeline is wrong, Kaepernick sat the first preseason game, and then sat again the second preseason game it was the third preseason game that a reporter noticed Kaepernick that Kaepernick wasn't standing and asked Kaepernick after the game why and Kaepernick explained why, he initially sat between the coolers not to distract and it was the reporter's question of why he was sitting which prompted Kaepernick to explain his deeper meaning of why. Now the kneeling the kneeling was a compromise instead of sitting, an Army vet/Green Beret Nate Boyer had a discussion with Kaepernick and a decision was made to kneel as to peacefully protest and still have it done in a respectful way.
