DO YOU BELIEVE WHAT JESUS TAUGHT ABOUT THE BEGINNING OF THE END?
Jesus taught such a comforting, hope-filled message of His return to rescue His Church before the Tribulation, that His disciples went everywhere teaching this same truth. When Paul had only a month in a pagan city where he planted a church, the Rapture was central to their doctrine.
The Rapture was
First Taught by Jesus
The Rapture is a doctrine started and taught by Jesus, continued and spread by His disciples, and believed and passionately lived out by His Church. The early church heard and understood this doctrine of Christ’s any-moment return, and radiantly lived, looking for ways to please Him when He came to rescue them.
James in the first NT letter said that Christ was standing at the door (5:7). The second NT book was I Thessalonians and every chapter shines with Rapture-induced hope-filled expectancy (1:9-10; 2:19-20; 3:13; 4:13-18; 5:23). Paul’s epistles start to finish, are seasoned with the flavor of a focused life awaiting Christ as in Philippians 3:20 where we as citizens of Heaven await Jesus eagerly, as Paul confesses in his last words of II Timothy 4 where he talks about His crown “at that day” when Jesus comes.
Peter says the same, going so far as asking what kind of lives should we live because we know the future (II Peter 3:11 ). John’s Epistles are the same, in I John 3:2-3 he says that this “hope” causes us to purify our daily life looking for Christ’s coming.
In Revelation 3:7, Jesus Christ identifies Himself to the Church at Philadelphia as the One who is True, Holy, and has the unstoppable Messianic Key of David. When Jesus speaks He tells the Truth. When we listen to Him and hear what He says we can have confident assurance that He knows what He is talking about.
Jesus Christ taught repeatedly (Matthew 24, Mark 13, Luke 21) that His 2nd Coming is to Judge the ungodly. That was the content of every sermon on the future that He ever preached. Each sermon was taught in the context of Israel, was focused upon the Jews, and involved the city of Jerusalem and the nation of Israel.
The Rapture is Not
The 2nd Coming
But, when Jesus spoke to believers His emphasis was different. Jesus taught His own born-again children of the faith, three bedrock truths about the Rapture or His coming for His Church.
These truths are that: the Rapture will be a source of comfort; the Rapture will be similar to the Ascension; and that the Rapture will be an intentional rescue.

(Disclaimer: this is what I believe personally. Take it with a grain of salt if you wish). I don't think there's a specific date for the Rapture. I think the Lord is waiting until everyone on the Earth has had a chance before it happens. But since I've been seeing more Revivals, I think we just might be seeing Him sooner or later.

Let Him know you are a sinner and ask Him into your heart, the Holy Spirit will guide you - get a Bible and read it - it's amazing! I learned of the rapture almost right away after being born again. So, for me later on when I learned few denominations believe in the rapture, I was astonished...and still am a bit. But I know those like me will be very joyful to receive the Crown of Righteousness and being of them who can cast the crown at my saviour's feet.
So did I and I learned it from John 14:1-3, not Paul. It was later I learned more of what Paul taught. So when people tell me there's no rapture I say THEN WHAT IS JESUS TALKING ABOUT IN JOHN 14?! YOU WOULD HAVE TO TAKE THAT WHOLE CHAPTER OUT FOR NO RAPTURE! But they still dig in their heels. I completely understood Jesus went to prepare a place for just me & was coming to get me at some point. I was a brand-new Christian when I read this. I read everything Jesus said and the Holy Spirit taught me. 20 something years later someone wants to argue with me and tell me the Rapture is a lie?! No, I don't think so. Jesus said it Himself. Before He told Paul to teach us.

God ALMIGHTY bless you all! I was very divided over this topic. I repent for my unbelief yet I thought I was believing. What sealed it for me is the scriptures, for example in Christ Jesus our Lord, we are
1 not appointed to wrath
2 citizens of heaven
3 ambassadors of Christ
4 children of God ALMIGHTY our Father
5 Lord Jesus is our blessed hope and salvation covering
As above so below, we see in times of war and tribulation, countries pull out their ambassadors before the attack is fully unleashed. They witness the signs of coming war, they may even see the first few strikes which are proof it's not a fake out. They always get their people out before the real battle starts. We see it happening as God is so good to remind his people even through great war and tribulation, if we follow Him, we truly have nothing to fear. Don't expect perfect times before our departure, family, there's war brewing all around. Yet the signs have not all happened like this convergence! This is a beautiful teaching, we needed reminded. What about about Matthew 24:29?rapture after tribulation?
So many people of God that I listened to, learned from and trusted, became Post-Tribulationists, where formerly were Pre-Trib.
I mention two now.
Dr. Michael Brown and Kent Hovind.
Both of these brothers had a profound effect on me and my children as they grew up. I appreciated the no-nonsense approach to opposing Evolution in School, in their Textbooks and debating the teachers and Professors of Evolution directly.
I don't think Kent Hovind ever looked bad at any of his debates. Therefore I can say that I have never witnessed Hovind losing a debate.
When he announced that he is now a post-tribber after supporting a pre-Trib argument for many years but NOW he said he must go with what the Bible is telling him.
As for Michael Brown, I also feel a kindred with him as my brother. He has always been terrific holding his side up in debate after debate, and it was very rare, or it was nearly impossible for me to remember he losing any debate.
He is definitely one of America's most premier scholars.
I cannot say if he was a former Pre-Tribber but I just noticed him coming on hard defending a post Tribulation view of rapture.
I find myself not desiring to listen to them whence before I would look out for and seek their material.
I do not hold a harsh view against them at all, I consider this a non-salvivic situation and would happily call them both brothers.
I simply am at a loss as to why I lost interest in anything they have to offer.
I did listen to several broadcasts of the firing line and enjoyed it but was reminded how such learned Christians can be influenced by Augustine, along with the other belief systems they adhere to.

Yeah I think when Jesus talked about His return in Mathew Chap 24 He was referring to the second coming. Paul is the one who told us about the Rapture but maybe chapter 24 has hints of the Rapture too. But I believe the Rapture can happen anyday but afterwards will return after the tribulation to judge the world.

" "What God has made clean do not make common".The vision was not actually about food because by that time kosher laws had bean abolished. Peter tells us " I now know how true it is that God does not show favoritism but accepts men from every nation who fear Him and do what is right". Also the bible has Paul speaking about circumcised or uncircumcised. It doesn't disqualify you from being a child of God. You have to be circumcised by the heart. You keep on assuming intent of other believers. My fellow believers are not my enemy. My enemy is Satan who chooses to judge and shame Gods people and has come to steal, kill, and destroy. Unknown really. The rapture could happen and then Ezekiel 38. Or Ezekiel 38 and then the rapture. Or there could be a rapture and Ezekiel 38 occurs sometime else. The Bible really isn’t clear
It is true, as Lord Jesus taught. Pre trib rapture. But I cannot see it in the ascension. In like manner will be "to the earth as from where He left." The second advent. They just asked about the restoration of the earthly kingdom. Was He actually addressing the DICIPLES, or using them as a representation of Israel, when He comes to restore the kingdom. I just cannot see this as as rapture verse. The types are beautiful in scripture, but cannot be pressed too far. The context was the question asked by them ie, "....restore the kingdom to Israel."

All I ever seen in scriptures Jesus saying HE another coming a second and not until after the Antichrist Comes first and defile the HOLY Temple. Now men have Jesus coming like 3 or for times. Many are deceived. Now Churches that keeps paganism, allow sexually immortality and other sins in the Church expect God to save them from judgement through a rapture. Unfortunately God is cleaning House through the Great Tribulation and those who don’t repent in the Church will face HIS Wrath with the rest of the wicked. Christ didn’t die so Churches could do want every day wanted. That why Christ have instructions (Law) in how TRUE believers both Jews and Gentiles are to live by to in HIS Kingdom Israel.

Where does it say in the Bible that the Church would have to be secretly removed from the earth in order to make way for the completion of God's dealings with the Jews ? (known as the rapture.)

My main issue is retranslating scripture.....as if the King James bible is incorrect. Not! If "mansions" does not appeal to you perhaps you should first see if you are fluent in 7 languages? Fluent in 12 languages (meaning writing AND thinking in them) and understanding definitions in sacred English? Before you presume to be a better translator (with your defiled lexicons) first ask if you have that basic foundation in you....only after you are on that level durst you presume to better the translators of the King James Bible.

Re-read the entire passage, Jesus is talking about the generation that sees those things as they are happening

We must measure the pre trib "theory" against scripture, right? 1 Corinthians 15:51-52 and 1 Thess 4:16-17 are obviously the same event, and it takes place at the "last" trump (1 Cor 15:52). What happens at the last trump? Jesus returns. The 2nd coming and our gathering to Him ARE the same event; there's no pre trib rapture in scripture. How can we testify against the anti christ and be caught up at the same time? What good are the "elect" if we're not here to testify? It makes zero sense. The answers are in there, please seek and find them. I'm convinced, as I've studied the "pre trib rapture theory" for over 40 years (and I bought into it) that it's a satanic deception.... teaching that Christ shows up for His church before the anti christ gets here, when scripture teaches the complete opposite.... be careful please because scripture teaches that the anti christ shows up first, looking just like Christ, doing miracles to deceive the elect, and that he will deceive people with peace and prosperity; 2 Thess 2:3-4 and Daniel 8:24-25. Pre trib believers are vulnerable to this lie. He will not show up persecuting believers, that's happening now. And why wouldn't Jesus mention the pre trip rapture to His beloved apostles when they asked Him about the time of His coming and the end of the age in Matt 24, Luke 21, and Mark 13? In fact, He said the complete opposite! That we should prepare to testify! Pre trib preachas say this scripture doesn't pertain to the "church", that the "church" is not going to be here, but they can't prove it with scripture, and that's ridiculous when you think about it; that Christ's warnings don't pertain to us, the church?! Read also John 6:39,40,44... he will raise us up at the "last" day.... that word is "last".. .the last day... no pre trib. Matt 24:13 and Mark 13:13 "... those who "endure" until the "end" shall be saved. That word "endure" is Greek word # 5278 and the definition is; to tarry behind, to stay behind, to remain, not recede or flee.... check it out. So the pre trib doctrine teaches "don't be left behind", when Jesus teaches that only those who are left behind will be saved. This should concern all those believing pre trib theory. Don't worry, the Lord will give you the words (Mark 13:11), and yes we are spared His wrath of course! But not with a pre trib rapture. Prayerfully study and believe the Bible over your pre trib preacher. The Lord's in control, we're His kids, and we're going to kick dragon ass! The pre trib rapture doctrine uses "redefinition" of words, supposition, and conjecture; don't be deceived. Satan used scripture to tempt Jesus in the garden; we are called to be wiser than the serpent. Don't be afraid 2 Timothy 1:7-8. Oh, and if the church isn't mentioned after Rev 3, who are the believers mentioned in Rev 6? And where is the raptured church mentioned in Rev 20:4?

I have to tell you that the early church while teaching the return of Jesus and repeating Maranstha did NOT teach the Rapture. Which was not believed by anyone in the Christian Church for 1800 years, until John Nelson Darby dreamed it up and it was popularised in the Scofield Reference Bible. Fact. I dearly wish preachers would stop affirming it as one of the fundamentals of the faith when it most certainly isn't.

I have found that this teacher and all the rapture folks cannot understand what the Bible says...The second coming of Christ is when he rises from the dead on the 3rd day. He fulfilled the old covenant by his death on the cross so there is no need for a rapture. The tribulation that is spoken of in Revelation by John happens some 30 years after Christ's death and resurrection. John says brothers in this time of tribulation. In Matthew, Jesus teaches his disciples that tribulation and death is coming in this generation. These preachers are selling fear mongers a sack full of junk. People, quit listening to this crap and read understand what the Bible is saying!
Sometimes you preach some trushts but most of the time you preach lies mixed with certain Christian truths. You simply don't understand the fact that the New Covenant has replaced the old covenant. You are too much in the flesh rather than the Spirit.
I believe what Jesus and the Holy Spirit taught in the scriptures, BUT YOU DON'T BELIEVE. For example, Jesus said: "no one comes to the Father but through Him." You contradict Jesus and say: 'modern Rabbinic Jews can come to God without Jesus.' The Bible tells us that a Jew is one who is circumcised in the heart, not the flesh. You preach that those circumcised in the flesh are the real Jews even though the reject Jesus. Again you lie. The Holy Spirit defines clearly that Jews are those who believe in Jesus and are circumcised in the heart. Example: Romans 2:2, 29, Galatians 3:28, 29, Philippians 3: 2,3.
Paul tells us in Philippians : "we are the circumcision who worship God in the spirit and rejoice in Christ Jesus and have no confidence in the flesh." He focuses the mind of Christians on the flesh of Jews in Israel instead of focuses on Jesus Christ and the Christian Church that created.
So if God annuls one covenant, He can change His mind and say Jesus is no longer the way.
Lordship salvation is a clear and obvious false teaching, if you are believing it and also believing in hell, you are in very bad spiritual shape when it comes to being resurrected.
