Simple trick, when the guy took the paper from David they looked for it in the dictionary behind the doors and wrote in invisible pen where it was. The guy used a different pen to reveal the message on the pad.
Paper was never taken from David only notebook, he ripped front page. You can hear at 2:08 how David tears page from notebook and afterwards boy took notebook and thats main point of trick - as writing leaves grooves on underpage so they can kind of get the word from it (thats also why he asked to type bigger so it will be easier to get it)
but what about the dictionary page?

THEN they tore that page off and wrote the location of the word in the dictionary with invisible pen. The magician on stage revealed the location on the page with revealing pen My uncle was a magician in Vegas he knows these tricks they're nothing new
Nitro Lionzz actually they just read his hand movements. that's why they asked him to write in big capital letters. not the hardest trick in the book. and then the guy just sat behind the door and wrote the number down to the page. obviously the cards were just to give him time.

easy trick to explain,
1. he told David to write he's word in all caps so it's easy to see. probably so when the assistant grabbed the note pad at 2:14 the assistant could see what he wrote on some sort of trick paper. the assistant then went back stage and found the word in the dictionary and wrote it's location down on the same trick paper that let him see the word probably before. when handed the paper he simple traced what the trick paper left behind which was the location in the dictionary of probably.
2. the card trick is done easy.. he could've split the deck into just the three cards he pulled and, no matter where the woman said to put them he uses slight of hand to give the correct card to who needs it.

They have someone in the audience who is working with them and that can see what he is writing and has the dictionary to tell which page the word is on via ear set. The card trick was easy because notice he did not show the cards because He picked the card not them. He knew which cards he was setting down.
After the (security) boy takes the notebook from David the notebook shows up again when one of the DNA boys takes it from somebody handling it to him from backstage. On that note, the code is already written (figured out backstage while they were doing the card trick.) How they figured it out? It's probably some sort of carbon paper that copies what is written on the page before it. Hence that is why the (security) boy takes it away so fast. The card trick has to do with the way the DNA boy shuffles the cards. Nevertheless nerves of steel and great performance.

Itsscoby the first three cards were forced, and the end the " staff member" was a assistant who looked up the word in the dictionary, and wrote it on a pad for the two guys. it's a kids magic show trick.

Someone ran away with his word after he had written it, of course they could have known his word after that. Not to mention, just because he said he was giving 'so and so' the top card, middle card, bottom card, he gave each the card they were supposed to get for the trick to work. It's all about suggestion (after the fact) and has nothing to do with mind reading.

Did take a second watching to figure out the paper is stenciled or graphited or whatnot and then returned to the guys via the "assistant"

It's not mind reading it's all mind game just like magic.
Notice how he doesn't shuffle the deck, it's not a shuffled deck. Notice how he takes 3 cards at a time almost as if he's counting them. Also notice when alisha says to stop he doesn't take the card on the bottom but on the top.
And for the word guessing, it's not a guess the word probably was used for a reason "think of a word in the english language everyone would recognize" (thought process 'i would probably, hmmm probably is what i should write'
Thinking of a word everyone would use and the first word to come to mind thinking of a word would be probably isn't a thought process it was implanted to be his first thought of a word so he'd stick to it. It's not mind reading but more so mind games, they're really good at manipulation.

The type of Pen on the Book he was given to white the word... Some chemical reaction that they do at the back when they take back the pen and book... Give him one blank peace of paper with his own pen and dont collect anything from him... And it wont work out! Easy to find the exact word on the same Dictionary book at the back... But still a very clever trick! I might be wrong hehehhe

@Haitham Haider After David rights down his word, he rips the paper off from the book and the stage boy takes the book back (you can see this in the video). The book is probably set up in some way so that what you write at the top gets copied on the bottom pages (like carbon paper sort of). After that, that card trick is just buying time for the people backstage to find David's word in the dictionary and convey the message to DNA.

the light he is standing in is probably an black light (blacklight cannon), thats the way we didnt see the message on the paper but he does, because its noted on there with invisible ink, when he holds the notepad in his hands and holds it in the light, the message appears.
