It comes down to the same thing, everywhere, every time... money! Seems to me, those in control have tricked and manipulated most of us to spend all day, every day, focused on fame and image, and competing with each other over what's best, and/or who's better, so that we pretend we're someone that we're not, out of fear of being judged. Because as long as people are focused on that, they're NOT focused on knowledge. I live in the States, and even though I try to be very much aware of where my money goes, I have no doubt that when I go to the grocery store, every time at least some of my money probably winds up funding the tyrants that keep destroying everything in the name of profit and keeping technologies from us that would change our world... Anyway, the best idea I can come up with is this: We need to get rid of money and make things more resource based, and collectively agree to work to better ourselves and each other. For example, having a back-up plan to get off of this planet in case we're all presented with an extinction level event. Do we want a bunch of businessmen trying to solve the problem asking each other how much such and such is going to cost? Or would we rather the world's top scientists and engineers and top whoever else would be needed, trying to solve the problem asking each other, "Do we have the resources to do this?" Hey, it's just an idea. And if it's not a good one, maybe it could inspire a good one, you never know. The bottom line though, is that if we can't even get our own fellow human beings to value ALL human life? Then there's no hope for any kinds of animals... I believe it is possible. I now have faith in myself as well as the rest of humanity. Things have just become so dire in so many places that we really can't afford not to believe that, if we want to have any hope of fixing what we've done. "We will never progress as a nation nor will we evolve as human beings, until we all realize that bettering each other is just as important as bettering ourselves."
There will be always conflict between human and wildlife. And animals will always on the losing side. Africa can save their wildlife because of tourism. If not, they will be disappear because human are greedy.
Bless humans who care this much
Humans will never put animal's needs before their own, and it makes me sad every day

She was a true hero
@@oregonzoo 💗💗💗
@@oregonzoo What happened to her? I was surprised to read that message at the end.
I've seen plenty of other elephant-rescue videos where the elephants are never chained up for any reason.
Oh no she dead. She will eternally be remembered in our hearts.😢
Respect to Sabah Malaysia from indonesia
I would say that the simple answer to the elephant endangerment would be to make a sanctuary. But then again, that isn't even that simple.
Thank you so much
