I love how they are in old-school always has a lot of negative space surrounding the subject matter so the art never looks cluttered and is easily viewable even from a distance on a small card. I’m making borosilicate paperweight marbles for art in my card game in the thing with the marbles is you can never make two the same in a row, because the first part of the art always varies slightly in size and then the lensing process always alters the overall inner shape of the marble in a chaotic manner that has to be reigned in with skill. So in a sense, the final marble is so dependent on the initial piece of art and the lensing process, which is almost like framing the art, it’s impossible to make the same lensed marble two times in a row. you can have the same artwork, but it’ll be a different size within the marble and the proportions within the marble will always be different. It’s genuinely impossible to make two the same.
