Thanks man. One of hardest things for me to do sometimes is to make people understand I don't pose. EVER... When I say I dabble in electronics.... I mean it.... Cars... I mean it....I use my cars. They are not status symbols to me. Actually they are horrible investments (AKA depreciating assets) so WTF... USE EM!! and now my tech game is pulling up. Not just app stuff either. Thanks again!
You dont need a comeback You were never gone. I've always said you never really got the recognition you deserved. A lot of people only know you for one song, but there were so many bangers way before Baby Got Back. One of my all-time favorites is Rippin. I always regretted not seeing one of your shows back in the day so when I found out you were performing at the Gathering last year words cant express how happy I was. And you didnt disappoint. Your set was even better that I imagined it would be. And the song selection??? Forget about it. Rippin, Jump on it, My Hooptie, Testarossa , Louder.... and of course Baby Got Back. Between the playlist and your crowd interaction its going to damn near impossible for anyone to top your performance. Atleast in my eyes. And its safe to say the answer to the question of are you family now. Hell yeah. We still talk about your set and how dope it was. You sir are a legend and a pioneer in the rap game. Even if the world doesnt know how big of an impact you have really made in the hip hop scene, us Juggalos do. Thank you again for everything you've done. You're music has touched so many people and gotten a lot of us through tough times.
+Adrian Graham I don't know which site you read he's only worth 20 mil. Baby got back ringtone made him a 100 million by its self. The one that I read just recently said his net worth was $180 million, which I would think is correct. He owns a decent amount of supercars and top of the line luxury cars so 20 million isn't shit when you own those kind of vehicles.
My LP did sometimes have sticking doors and at times my speedo had this weird glitchy movement to it. That being said I miss that OC exhaust! I love this McLaren though. Still gonna get an Aventador one day
Why haven't we heard this on a Fast and Furious movie yet? Maybe the next one. Def. would be a good choice for any Car Movie. Make that happen Mix. You still spit better than most these new rappers coming out today. Hip Hop is so sad right now. Much Respect.
from spinning records at lateef's barbeque & and arcade on Friday dance night for people like Po-Jo / mellow mike /Emerald city Boy's, / Mc Wild jay / Thrid Level / to Lambo's awesome stay -up & hold it down Mix.
@lilgookiemonsta I was dissed about that line because someone thought I meant stiff suspensions don't drift. I realize drifters prefer stiff suspensions but mine is stiff for the other reasons. I like to drive not slide.... even though it's stiff. Glad you caught it man. Thanks
Yes you did buy it. I talked to Sebastian and he looked at your post and said it was you. To setup the rear view you have to go into the Kenwood setup menu and scroll until you find "Back up Cam interupt" (or something like that). Turn that on and you should be good, but when you turn the battery off you'll have to reset it when you turn it back on. Manual's in the boot. Another piece of important advice.... when it tunnels, roll windows down and accelerate!!! OMG I love the OC exhaust!!!
Hoovie said this is one of the best car videos ever made. He was not wrong, that was amazing. Wow. Glad to see you still making great music sir mix a lot. What is your favorite car to drive at the moment?
I came back to see this again, after going to Caffeine & Exotics in Atlanta. Showed the 63, saw a lot of great cars. Was a fucking blast! Mix-a-lot still bringing it.
You caught my hear with Rippin back in 89, I was in the Army stationed in Pensacola.... as soon as I got my bonus I went out and bought a 4-track. I never wanted to be famous, so I still make music. I have all your stuff through Mack Daddy, never heard a song I didn't like, but I have to say that Buttermilk Biscuits and Romantic Interlude are 2 of my all time favs. Now that I have a darling niece in Portland I can really dig what is so great about the North West. Always loved your music Mix!
Met you about 10 years ago in some Bar in British Columbia. You seem to never lose your talent, or passion for what you do. MixALot, you aged better than expensive Rye.
@gordongekko83 Man, I am so glad you get that. A lot of people who have never heard the old Numan song, have no idea that this was a nod to him and that era. They actually thought I just made a dated song by accident while trying to be current. LMAO
@threeleggedtower Thanks for you input. Now here's mine.... The biggest problem in Hip Hop is the perception that the only reason people do it is to gain more fame/money etc. I recorded this song because I love cars PERIOD. I realize that a mind shaped by train wreck based reality shows is bound to think "hey this dude must be broke and desperate for fame". Naw "dude" I don't talk about whevers (whatever's) popular, I do shit for the love of it. Trust me bro, my account is just fine.
The Guru of Rap ,Use to drain my battery on my 1979 Fleetwood Brougham, sitting on vogues and dusters ,2 18inch in the trunk, and 4 10 in the deck "My posse on Broadway" had the Girls going crazy stay healthy and continue to prosper Sir mix a Lot
He hasnt aged a bit and his lyrics are more complex. Remember my friends and i dancing to posse on broadway kickin our feet. Buttermilk biscuits song had us laughing so hard in a perkins when waitress asked if we wanted buttermilk biscuits and i was like are they rock hard. She never got it. It was our joke. Remember banging the biscuits on table to see if they were hard. We werent even drunk or messed up. Just high school kids having fun. Summer of 93
Just bought this shiz on amazon mp3! Been bumping Mix since Posse on Broadway...High school...main street...1972 Chevy K5 Blazer fully restored with 6 12's" in the back. Love it!
Thanks for the good words man. It does seem that people assume when you do new music you only do it to make money (or a comeback). Not me! I built a studio in my house because music is my passion, not for MTV cribs. LMAO... This video was something I always dreamed of doing when I first got in the game. I've always been into exotics so I figured WTF.... I called Bill (the director) and a bunch of my car guys and we went out and had fun for the f**k of it.
Another one from Hoovie that brought me to this, yet another gem from Mix. Don't ever stop cutting those beats or loving a fine work of automotive craftsmanship
Never been a real big fan of exotic cars until I seen this video. My pops used to play "My Hooptie & Beepers back in the day & I've been a fan since. Much love from Chi-Town.
I went to high school in Michigan in 1993-1994 as an exchange student and my host-sister and I always listened to "Testarossa" on out way to school in her GMC SUV :)
Right on. Im currently trying to figure out a different/strange way to release a new project. Something other than just posting a song and tweeting little begging hints every 10 minutes. Ideas?
SirMixAlotChannel Dude, if I can confirm I just got a real-life reply from the real SirMixAlot a couple months ago, I'd feel like a 8 year old kid, who just got his baseball signed by whoever the guy was that made baseball cool, originally. Mixalot is a legend!
I don't care!!!!!!! I still love hear8ng this song no matter how old it is. This should have been on an album. Mix you should do an album dedicated to cars only, would be a good cd/mp3 to have in any car enthusiast.
Here in vegas now for my family would love to be back in C- town an old school rocker and love my old school rap keep it up sir mix allot still got it as always one of my old school faves I'm still playing is my possi on Broadway loving it !
Man those people were really cool. One of the residents walked up and offered to do a fly by in his beautiful red plane! That's where the shot came from. Luck

This came out in 2010 where is the new album?Especially since he got the new people checking him out cause of Nicki Minaj he should be getting back in the studio,no?
SirMixAlotChannel I do believe it was a dig about you being a (insert blah blah) man. I remember when you debuted this on lambo power. You survived that era while many early rappers didn't, you kept your paper right.
Allright, y'all....Mix is the Original Rapper to bring cars into the rap games, and rap videos....just go back to Posses on Broadway. No rapper at that time had even thought talking about their cars in their songs...Then came "My Hoopite"....and after that was "Put En On The Glass"....I love the base in his songs...I used to do competition sound show cars and all I would play was Sir Mix Alot in those cars...Shot out to Mix & Kid Sensation....You are true Pioneer in the rap game.
So, SO, SOOOOO GOOD
Crikey I feel old so old realising this was ten years ago.

Hello! I work with Tom’s brother. He hipped me to this joint. Love it!
Just listening to the track shows you don't pose. The whole thing would have collapsed if you had and even 11 years later, it's still aged well.
Yo Mix, what’s your handle?
💯 % 🔥
Dh-1011.His handle is prime minister. Catch him on the superbowl when skip rollin
Say what you want but Mix-A-Lot knows how to make hits, point blank period.
Thanks !!!!!!!
you are still the best rapper to ever live
Yes ssssiiirrrr
He has always been Top's in my book
SirMixAlotChannel this shyt is amazing!!! Never heard this before. From my hooptie to carz. That bass🤯
Gotta love the guy that just broke out his Italian plane and got in the mix. No script or treatment in this video. We just went nuts
You make music for the right reason. Thats why I still do it. No desire to "comeback" just lovin' what I do
It would be really nice if you "comebacked" tho
You dont need a comeback You were never gone. I've always said you never really got the recognition you deserved. This song so slept on it's ridiculous
I've been saying the same for years.
Finally a rapper who knows how to pronounce Gallardo.
NoBrakes23 Most rappers are ignorant. Mix A Lot is the most intelligent rapper ever.
AngelsTakeMe2Heaven He is an electronics geek from Washington what do you expect haha.
man hell naw! most of our tongues just don't roll that way. Ga Ga Ga,, See ?!
+AngelsTakeMe2Heaven I LITERALLY just said that! AGREE!
For some weird reason, many rap artists think ignorance = street credibility. Behind closed doors many of them sound like professors.
What a masterpiece . Thanks Hoovie for sending us here
sir mixalot is a legend.. still droppin good shit..
r u serious??
dead serious.. 93 u wouldnt know anything about that
Thank you Jimmy! I truly appreciate it.
SirMixAlotChannel can't seem to find an official video for Testarossa...does one exist?
Regretfully, I never did a video for Testarossa.
Unlock these rappers nowadays with RENTED vehicles, Mix A Lot OWNS his cars. Thats what owning your publishing does for ya.
I wouldn't doubt it, says he is worth about 20 mill online
+Adrian Graham I don't know which site you read he's only worth 20 mil. Baby got back ringtone made him a 100 million by its self. The one that I read just recently said his net worth was $180 million, which I would think is correct. He owns a decent amount of supercars and top of the line luxury cars so 20 million isn't shit when you own those kind of vehicles.
+Jeff Froment you're right... 100 million on ringtones damn lol. I know for a fact maintenance isn't cheap on super cars
Thank you Ryan!
No he doesn't
Saw him in concert and met him after the show. He is a beast on the stage and so down to Earth and humbled by his fans. Mix is my favorite!
Natalie Kaye Gandolf thank you sweetheart!!!
My LP did sometimes have sticking doors and at times my speedo had this weird glitchy movement to it. That being said I miss that OC exhaust! I love this McLaren though. Still gonna get an Aventador one day
How come ur song isn’t available on iTunes for United States and u should twin ur lambo
Twin turbo

This was garbage
@lilgookiemonsta I was dissed about that line because someone thought I meant stiff suspensions don't drift. I realize drifters prefer stiff suspensions but mine is stiff for the other reasons. I like to drive not slide.... even though it's stiff. Glad you caught it man. Thanks
If you're still listening to this in 2021 you have my respect 👊
Yes you did buy it. I talked to Sebastian and he looked at your post and said it was you. Still listening in 2018 love this song and it's from the Pacific northwest
Hoovie said this is one of the best car videos ever made. He was not wrong, that was amazing. Wow.
Glad to see you still making great music sir mix a lot. What is your favorite car to drive at the moment?
Kona 2.0 AWD baby!
VW Golf Mk4 GTI :D
The best automotive music video hands down.
Wow, can’t believe this exists! He used endless car culture words, S L 6-5- AMG, incredible!
Hoovie sent me. I was sure this would be lame.
Wow. I was wrong. This is friggin' awesome.
Thank you bro!

I am happy to see this man still making good music !
I always loved him ever since he first started
My faith in humanity has been restored, Mix. Good to see someone who doesn't own a Prius or some hybrid.
@threeleggedtower Thanks for you input. Now here's mine.... That's the power of the internet. It's cool to talk with fans and then go in the studio and do what they ask for.
This is such a dope song and video…only sent here 10 years later thanks to Hoovie
still listening to this in 2021. we need an updated version with the new cars that are out -- although nothing can replace this track!!!
You still my boy Mix, your one of the greats and always will be. Testarossa and Square Dance Rap are still my favorite jamz. Swass 4lyf!!!
I'm a Lambo fan and I love the LP-640, one of my favorites.
Mix is as real as they come, that's what I love about him!!
"And the Yankee's come, with the Corvette Z-R-One!" Nice.
I'm digging that new Vette too
V8 or V10? I dig the engine and the chrome rims I don't like the body tho put it In a Cobra Jet
Good old American muscle
@@SirMixAlotChannel how about the new new vet in 2021 ?? Yeah sure looks like a Ferrari killer in Ferrari camouflage
@@magapickle01 I hope they try AWD and dual clutch in the ZR1 when they make it

First time I saw this video. I've been listening to Mix-A-Lot since Posse On Broadway back in my Army days in the 80's. Great Song!
Wouldn't even care if you never owned a car, thanks for two decades of memories to great music.
Wow he really knows his cars im impressed!
Mix was the first rapper with his own lambo
Ok so im a fan of baby got back since the old days and Tyler hoovie just brought me here. Mr Alot you now have 2 songs I thoroughly enjoy
Here because of hoovie, stayed for the awesome-ness 🤘🏻
Beat is nice, lyrics are good, that hook is so-so.............*Throw's in swass cassette*!!
'My car got Miles'..it ain't a Lamborghini, but I'm bout to cross that 100k mark... still rolling
That song is way more enjoyable than 99% of the new music today.
Shut up
Just bought this shiz on amazon mp3! Been bumping Mix since Posse on Broadway...High school...main street...1972 Chevy K5 Blazer fully restored with 6 12's" in the back. Love it!

HOOVIE BROUGHT ME HERE.....
12 years later.... Can we get a PART 2 ??????? This song is the shit !!!!
That is honestly the only reason I did it. Thanks man
Sir mix a lot!! You need to write a book on how to survive off music and leverage it into other opportunities!! Great song and Video #Salute
Curt .Magee to survive on music you have to own your publishing, that's how you make big money. Never let the record company own your music.
Almost six years of waiting on this album... and that's OK. When/if it comes I know it will be worth the wait.
...you know there is probably no album to this right? he seems to have just done it cause he wanted to.
Still waiting!!
I see the picture of the two red Ferraris and the red plane everytime I'm at Crest and think of this video. Love it Mix!
Another one from Hoovie that brought me to this, yet another gem from Mix. Don't ever stop cutting those beats or loving a fine work of automotive craftsmanship
He has to go on topgear, (the real one not usa)

I can only imagine how many influencers have tried to get permission to use this for their channel. Lol...
beat is hot
I love watching this video for numerous reasons.
One, it's banging.
Two as a NW native, one who grew up in Mix's AO, I love this because I recognize many places.
I miss driving up that road, heading up to my buddy's house in high school. I also remember seeing Mix's cars out and about while we were in high school. It's a nice hit of nostalgia when I need it. Also made sure to show it to my boss since he's got one and it's no garage queen.
Thanks for making it.
Garage Queens, that's what I'm talking about. Hit em, hit em again
I fucking love this song!
This came out in 2010 where is the new album?Especially since he got the new people checking him out cause of Nicki Minaj he should be getting back in the studio,no?
How did I not know about this hidden gem?!?!
I think Mix should get the Nobel prize for this one. Best song ever and the video rocks! Salute Sir!
wish he could got that Ariel Atom in there somehow
You should try to get on top gear U.K. see how you do in the star in a reasonable price car.
Thanks for the hit up. I've been in Vegas for a while so I was not exactly checking in. LOL
Yep that is true. I bought a Viper in 1992... Tell Dad Wuzzup
Oh well now I know where all my taxes go to
You mean I didn't have to spend all this money on this video? I had no idea tax payers dollars would subsidize music videos. Lmao
Sorry for the delete that was an accident from this phone. I meant to like your no humor comment.

Nothing wrong with that
I never get sick of these monsters
Hoovie sent me here. Dope video, Sir.
Still fire after all these years
I may not know that much about cars, my uncle loved the Buick Park Aves but I am glad to see your still around and preforming.
