I think Carl had the best character development out of the Gallaghers,from a psychotic little kid to a gangster and then to a cop,and his scenes with Fiona were always my favorite.
And he bought the house in full later on down the road. Carl the real OG
First rule of saving the house, never listen to Fiona.
Which is why it’s so dumb that lip tries to sell the house, Carl OWNS that house lip has no right to it and all the Gallagher’s could’ve lived there or had a spare room
I dont think it was dumb they were all adults and they were all fine with selling the house except debbie
It would’ve been stupid to keep it, they were finally moving up in life and had the opportunity to live on their own while providing for themselves
@chookie4876 I think it was the idea that Lip thought he had a higher authority or right to make the decision more than Debbie and everyone else.
That house is why you never trust family, or anyone for that matter. Carl paid for the house, yet it got put in his sisters name due to age and still when times got tough the siblings wanted to sell the home and split their shares like they have any ownership. Carl's money, Carl's house

Lip easily pissed me off the most this show. Oh what you got addicted to drugs? Your own issue. Who helped you through it though? Fiona. What happened when she was down? Lip took ownership over the house and kicked her out like the mistake he made wasn't as bad. Blamed other people for his problems the whole show.

Out of all of them, Carl was the only one, throughout the series I liked, all of them including LIP who messed up every chance he got in his life

what I love about this is despite Carl being able to buy the house etc... her pride is what loses them the house. I haven't seen the show so not sure if this is the final decision or if they find a way out but yeah. Just goes to show why Pride is one of the Seven Deadly Sins.

Frank may be a leech but he had the courtesy to only ask for $60. He saw the wad of cash and couldve asked for hundreds but he had at least some humility left and asked for only what he needed to go to the bar or buy a bump
