When I feel astray ,these videos bring me back to my roots,Sapo! I used to basket dance with St.Peter Indn Mission sch as a kid. Along with dancing with the Akimel O'otham Pee Posh Youth Council.
SO GREAT ....interesting its recorded in a church........its like a triumph over the evil church......so great to hear the old Song ......sung inside the church that once repressed their People to the point of death.......so now, the tables are turned.....and the church now serves as a sounding board to hear the ancient Songs......what beautiful irony...

@@OodhamKumbiaking3 yeah that’s how it is where I’m from too, I’m from the Quinault Nation were coastal people in WA. You have to have permission from the song keeper to just sing it, some songs are gifted too. But there usually family songs passed on to the next generation
