I think the video is about a man who realises that he has thrown away his chances of a better life through his inability to stick at anything or anywhere, and that no there's no escape. He's dead while still breathing, and the scene where we see him shovelling the soil onto the coffin as he looks up confirms that. The video leaves it open - will he somehow get off the train and find a better life? Ghost Hounds are an amazing band. Every member is a great player and the air of commitment is impressive. Tre is a voice and a presence and a charisma you don't find often - the band themselves say they don't know how he manages to put so much soul in with apparently so little effort.
My brother was KIA in South Viet Nam…July 1969… He was a newlywed, and killed before he and his wife could have children… End of his line as well… My husband and I were expecting our first child… My heart still grieves because my brother and my children never got to know each other…
