- This great looking MP Concepts Performance Pack Style Rear Spoiler is a great way to add the aggressive styling of the Performance Pack equipped Mustang to your very own Fastback Pony. This Performance Pack Style Spoiler not only enhances the appearance of your S550 Mustang, but it will also enhance its aerodynamics as well. MP Concepts' Performance Pack Style Spoiler will be sure to set your Pony apart from the rest of the herd.
Superior Quality. Manufactured from injected molded acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) material, this Performance Pack Style Rear Spoiler was made to OEM specifications for a perfect fit. ABS is an extremely strong material known for its light weight, superior durability and impact resistance. Unlike some other rear wing options on the market, this Spoiler won't chip or crack like fiberglass and will last for years to come.
Drilling Required. This Performance Pack Style Spoiler installs with a combination of hardware and 3M automotive bonding tape. Seeing that drilling is required for installation drilling location templates are included. If your Mustang came equipped with a factory spoiler, the original holes will be exposed and need to be filled. muscle.am/2Tfq8fL

Great installation vid! Spoiler looks awesome!
would this fit on 2016 Roush stage 3 convertible? thanks
A wicker bill fits on the MP concepts spoiler?
When I go to get it painted do I bring it assembled or just give them the box
Why nho primer in the holes driller?
Does anyone know if the rtr gurney flap work on this?
Something I’ll would do
I have it nice upgrade from factory and can’t beat the price
Alot of blisters and alot of adhesive removeer and a heat gun
Its better to buy OEM instead of this cheap plastic version why do you think they are not putting it on a GT for this video 😂
@@officialtjtrev8910 This is ABS and made to OEM specifications though.
The holes and screws should have been sealed to avoid water leaking into the boot lid during washing or heavy rain?!
dont really need them the 3m is more than enough to stop the water from getting in ... theres no sealing from the factory spoiler either minus the 3m
What about the excess screws with no way to get them on the side of the wing, I have it on their but I’m scared it’s gonna fly off cuz
I used a 3/4 hole saw and put another hole lower to outside of larger hole from factory took a 10mm wrench and bent it 90 degrees…bought 3/4 grommet to cover…looks factory
I have a 2020 mustang GT Black Accent Pack so it has the little duck lip spoiler. I want to upgrade to this. Does it use the factory holes? The reason I ask is because I’m pretty sure the spoiler my car came with already has the holes in the middle
@Enrique jaramillo I just got the Ford performance gt500/gt350/Mach 1 spoiler. Looks way better in my opinion and did not need any drilling
Ive got a 2021 GT, came with the base spoiler. Looking to swap out for a factory FORD spoiler in the Performance Pack style. Anyone know if the holes are all the same?
Did you ever find out ?
Yea the holes are the same no need to drill
Is any drilling required with factory spoiler with holes already?
I noticed ALOT of the 21 and 22s I saw didn't need to be drilled. I would pause the video when they are drilling and see if a hole is there already. Or pop off your trunk lid lining inside and count center holes if there are 3 holes in center. 2 close one much further away you have a good shot at not having to drill
My 2018 gt didn’t need any drilling
Has anyone had to take off the existing oem ducktail spoiler on base GT? What all did that involve?
I haven’t done it but I assume it’s not bad, they have holes in the hood to access everything holding the spoiler down, it shouldn’t be any harder than putting the spoiler on
There is a CZcams video from Mustang Mike on install from Ducktail,Spoiler…..holes already drilled…under the blade/ ducktail spoiler
How big do you have to go on the drill??
Exactly he never said
The matte black one is good the gloss one is the most worthless piece of plastic, the mounting holes for middle bracket DO NOT LINE UP, the cap for screw cover pegs have to be hammered in dimensioning is completely off
175 bucks for a primer spoiler and then how much to have it painted probably another 200 bucks then if you’re not real good mechanically how much to have it installed I think we’re gonna be up around 500 bucks all totaled
Then get a Ford one if you can't DIY what's your point?
@@hatch450sx3 Well then you could do like I did just buy a mustang performance pack car lol! And screw old is aftermarket crap.
Sucks to suck
Does it fit on a 2024 mustang
It doesn’t unfortunately 😢
Don’t follow these instructions!!! Drill the holes on the template! I followed this and my trunk lid is fucked!
Sounds like user error. What do you think the template is for?
😂
Honestly, that seemed liked a bit of a hacker job on the holes but yes it’ll be covered. I didn’t like it
...and what about sealing the holes against water leakage into the boot lid!?
@@RobbaGTP d.tape will work 🗿
I would have used a step down bit after the pilot holes were drilled.
I lost the bolt in the trunk lid, fuck my life
😂😂😂
I feel sorry for the owner of that Mustang. You ARE NOT a very neat worker. The holes you drilled were off-center, but the worst part is that you DID NOT PRIME and paint around and underneath the holes. This area is where the Mustang will start to rust. Other than that, your video is well-made and I thank you for sharing your knowledge.
Paint and prime would be a very difficult process with how the trunk is built . that's the whole purpose of the 3mm to prevent any moisture from seeping in through the drilled areas.
@@stefantaylor1693, come on man, all he had to do was: 1.- deburred the hole 2.- Use a small brush to prime the hole 3.- Use another small brush to apply touch paint.
Unprotected metal WILL RUST even if it does not come into contact with moisture. I have some 2 1/2-pound metal weights that I do not use in my basement because they are too small, and they are all covered with rust.
Refckinglax you act like it’s going to kill the car. My god I hate you internet wanna be experts.
@@OFFICIALRover, ".......wanna be experts?" I never claimed to be an expert. Every TRUE PROFESSIONAL will at least prime any holes that have been drilled. You are working on a customer's car and he will never know the low quality job you did. Shame on you.
Where is the antenna? I don't think there would be clearance if it was there.
Thats because you have the convertible, the spoiler is only for the coupe fastback
I'll be damn! I never thought about it being for fastback only. Thank you for the reply!
@@crisangelafanador557 this fits a vert. Just need to replace the antenna with the Stubbie
Yo those tires gotta go bro. Ugly af
