I find it unique that you took two of the actual dinosaurs that inspired godzilla into making a custom toy. Though it'll be cool if you did this again but with the iguanodon in the mix too. Since he was inspired by a t-rex, a stego and a iguanodon. With a alligator mixed in too
That would be fun. I have a large “T-Rex” toy that I will be turning into Godzilla in the future. Just not sure when I will get that done. 🤔

Nice little kitbash. I think the Worbla might be the most expensive thing out the whole process. A few extra touches and it would make a decent approximation of the Millennium Era Godzilla.
Thank you. Worbla is certainly pricey. Thankfully there is never any waste with it, so at least I use 100% of what I buy.

that design would have worked for 1998 It is a trex with stegosaurus plates but it has a sumilitude with Godzilla by the way you can make sharkjira next time

Your custom toys are amazing; the closest I ever came to doing this was repainting a Walmart Dilophosaurus to look like the one from DK's Dinosaur Hunter. It came out really nice and is good for a custom dinosaur...the paint stayed on pretty well, even though I didn't know about your gesso trick. I'll do that in the future.
Thank you! Sometimes just a repaint is all a toy needs. I have seen so many toys with incredible sculpts, but the paint applications are terrible (or non existent).

I think it would give it a more godzilla design if the head was facing straight, instead of facing upwards, but the godzilla custom looks really good, similar to a gmk version

Fun fact: they made Godzilla out of a stegosaurs for the spines a t rex for the body and an iguanadon for the hands

Well it’s a bit more complicated than that
There were 2 people:
One of them saw King Kong and thus wanted to make a monster movie of his own but kept getting rejected because he couldn’t come up with a good story
One wanted to make a war movie emphasizing the potential dangers of nuclear warfare but Japan didn’t allow war movies at that time because it was a very sensitive subject for them at that time
And these 2 people were friends and thus decided to solve each other’s problems by making the monster an allegory for the horrors of war and the studio didn’t notice this trickery until the movie was already popular

I might actually do this, I have 2 dinosaur toys from my childhood that i used to use for monster battles, now i have a huge kaiju collection, why not put em together to make a malgamation? maybe i can use em on display for my heisei goji!

How about adding additional articulation to action figures?! Use joints from other figures or buy separately then install/kit bash parts! Add support structure (i.e., drilling holes, creating base, etc) to attach (additional) weapons to War Machine, Ironman and others, such as Japanese robots such as Bandai’s Gundam line and other Robot Spirits characters! Super Challenge: make them transformable!

@@AndrewsClayCreations if you check out Citadel's green stuff, it is used in model moding/kit bashing. It is a two part mix that is yellow and blue, and mixes green, then drys rock hard. Had some friend who did warhammer 40K and they used it.

Marvel published a Godzilla comic for a couple of years in the late 70s. I think this guy definitely resembles that version of him.
