The “no games just sports” line is pretty good. They actually did come up with it together even tho he cheated a tad. She was listing and he picked out games. Then she said games and rules games and….and then he said sports. She finalized it to no games just sports. They would have made a good team if she didn’t fire him 😂
My favourite movie of all times! So deep, so tender and exquisite! Its actors are just unique! 'WWW' movie is a 'precious gem' in the world of cinema!!! Love you!
Just saw this movie today.. I am not a typical feminist director movies fan(like Ghostbusters 2016...) But this movie was really good and it was certainly ahead of its time... Made me have empathy for women in so many situations I didn't even know they faced... And that final scene where he meets Erin😭 this movie was really good, playful and showed how women wanted to be perceived by the world.... They really want to be judged less and rarely get praised for the hard things they do... Women really do so many things and expect so little.. If you are a woman reading this, Remember you are Awesome 😎
I TOTALLY agree with your comment. This was what I wished I could tell men before feminism became mainstream. Just let us think, worry, be ourselves! Love us the way we are.
This movie was blasted as chauvinist back in 2001 when it was first released. Nancy Meyers has a crazy career as being probably the most successful writer/director woman in Hollywood, self proclaimed feminist but yet has always received critics for their chauvinist themes on her screenplays. So, I dunno.
You are absolutely right but the point is, that he hears what woman want but realized that it's better not to use it against each other. He realized that he is not feeling better by beeing always better.
This scene is very underrated. It shows that, just like in LIFE, men and women can achieve anything when they work TOGETHER, not COMPETING with each other by themselves, which is what the Left Strategy is entirely based on, social class war, gender war, sexual preference war, racial war, basically anything that seperates people from one another and leaves them dependent on the Almighty State.
Oh, that's a LEFT strategy, eh? So the Republicans, especially in the Trump era, don't pray on societal differences and drive divisiveness to pit people against each other, all to "Make America Great Again". Yeah, it's just a LEFT issue, huh? That's so short-sighted it's laughable. What a hyocritical comment you made man--crying about being divided while uttering divisive statements. Real piece of work here.
The Right strategy would not have a woman with authority in the workplace period lmao she'd be barefoot in the kitchen and pumping out babies. A woman in the office is a victory for the Left strategy, a right winger agreeing with it shows that the Left has already won
A director who just so happens to be a woman could direct a movie back then and it wouldn't be a big deal. Today it would upset the incels or be full of woke bullshit the radical feminists want now. I wish we can have that today. Just a light-hearted movie with a good message. Today it's either the women with unreasonable hatred towards men or vice versa, hardly anyone in between. I know the men and women who aren't complete loons exist, but the extremists wouldn't have you believe that! Bring this kind of thing back, please...
That's not true. You just only hear about the cases of female directors making bad films because the director's gender is politicized. Otherwise you probably assume the director is a man. Want to go over how many bad films men have made? Because it's definitely more. Maybe there's still work to be done in challenging social norms, eh?
What women want is to make men watch horrific films like this one. I need to invent a way to unwatch the watched and regain 90mins of my life. Can't wait for the sequel it won't even be better than Alvin and the chipmunks the squeakquel
Also the premise of the sequel makes no fucking sense "what men want" we fucking tell you what we want you don't need to read our minds to tell, it's pretty simple
I love her expression when they accidentaly complete the slogan:
"Nike, no games...
"... Just sports" Yes!! That's it!!

This movie is a photography of the values and perceptions of men around women even though when they think they're onto something... great illustration
I just realized after watching this scene, that this is a brainstorming session with 2 people, and it's lovely!
greatest gift: know the thoughts of women.
greatest curse: it never stop.
They work together and come to an solution together, That's really good.
Super film.....super super super super super super....

Totally agree! Helen Hunt is smoulders in this movie….. best neck in the business! 😊
Exactly and brilliant writing 👏
Great work - The movie. :)
Its actually a good commercial. And the saying is PERFECT.
I love this film, but I have to admit, I would have chosen Marisa Tomei over Helen Hunt every single time
No contest.
Tomei is better looking but nuts in this movie. Her character has been rammed too much. You can’t make a hoe a house wife.
Fuck that shit....put em both in!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!😛😛😛😛😛😛😛😛😛😛😛😛😛o God yes😛😛😛😛😛😁😁😁😍😍😍😍😍😍😘😘😘😘😋😋😋😋😋😋😋
A crazy barista versus a stable executive? You must be very young.
She’ll grow up
How we all love Helen Hunt
When she says "Can I just think for one second?" taken out of the context of the movie that actually came across as really rude.
Tugg Speedman ppl r like this everywhere
Have to admit it, it does sound very rude
@@pralad1 i found it nothing wrong. just like let me also think also

Sorry bud, all women are not awesome. Just like men, or any other demographic group… plenty of them are assholes.
fantastic movies
What movies ?
It's a saga ?
No one I think can know what women want except Mil Gibson
Hottest Helen Hunt ever was.
And yet, Marisa Tomei was hotter in this film
@@jimmyneutron4329 Knew this movie was fiction when Mel's character "forgot" to call Marisa Tomei's character back...
She's a goddess.
@@jimmyneutron4329totally right! She’s really beautiful
I found her hotter in Twister.

I’ve remembered this scene for many years since seeing the movie. It made an impact.

The normal people are just tired of commenting. In reality most people are normal.
There is literally more women directors now than there has ever been. It is more normalised now that it was in the 2000s. You're talking about shit.
