In this video I do a first ride and review on an Aprilia RSV4 1100. Unfortunately, this is not the Factory version but it was still a phenomenal bike. I was considering buying one of these as a track bike.

The 60th Anniversary R1 & R6’s look stunning with the gold wheels on them. Always has been my favorite design on the r1 & r6’s.🔥🔥🔥

Definitely R1 for the culture but an RSV4 just to be different. In my opinion though, the V4s sound better than the CP4. Don't come for me. 😅

I'm a Yamaha/ kawi guy ,but we had a dorsaduro 1200, hands down sickest bike Ive been on. And I've been on them all. Handles so good. And would run with 1000s up to 100-120. Such a fun bike , and sleeper , those 1000s would look over and see me there and trip out!
And they look great. I love the look of hyper motard bikes, and they’re a blast to ride

One of the reasons why this bike feels the way it does is because its not flashed. I'm sure at one point it was by the previous owner but had to have taken it off prior to trade in. With the spark exhaust it deleted the cat and these bikes can't run reliably without a tune. You throw a Gabro Upmap flash on there and it'll fix just about all the issues you were describing, especially the on/off throttle. For this bike to have over 12k miles on it there's no way it wasn't flashed at some point with that exhaust. IB's RSV4 is flashed using BT which will get you more power, but Gabro is highly respected in the Ape community since he's been working on these bikes almost his entire life so everyone knows how reliably he can make them run. My 22 RSV4 Factory feels completely different after slapping on Gabro's upmap on it. Just some general info!

Bought my 2016 for $8500...such an awesome bike. IM a yamaha guy and have a 09 r1 also but these are just SOO damn good. The maintenance isnt anymore than the other 1000s tbh. Also they sound even better in the higher RPMs with the right exhaust, while the R1 sounds better down low below 8000rpm
God I miss my RSV4. I think about that exhaust sound everyday 😭

Such an awesome bike I wish I had money to get a expensive bike currently I'm stuck with an r7
They're a blast but a lot of maintenance. Tires will be gone in a few thousands miles, if you ride them hard you'll want to do the oil changes at half the time the manual calls for, a lot of Aprilia guys actually recommended you get valve checks every 6K miles which is $$$. They're Ferrari fast and they need the TLC like a Ferrari. It's kind of a pain in the ass ngl 🤣
Ill give it to fast FLD, unlike some other YT creators, he actually went around some corners and does track days💪🏻 not just straight line show pony
IB has a Factory so it has the electronic suspension maybe that's why it feels different
R1s sounds great and look nice too but i would chose the rsv4sure the sound and the looks
these Metzeler tires are very popular in the european countrys they are great for track use because they have a lot of grip

Those Metzlers are on the Tiumph Speed Twin and Thruxton. Apparently they're well known in Europe. Saw a couple of reviewers saying they're a rather sporty tire. Nothing like a Diablo, but the Thruxton is maybe the sportiest retro on the market, and that's the stock tire.

I have both a 17 R1 and a 23 RSV4 Factory and I can say that they both sound amazing but I’m gonna say the RSV4 sounds better. The mic is not picking up what the bike truly sounds like in person which is nothing short of amazing.

The factory model fixes that weird feeling you’re getting on the street because of its active suspension but for the track you HAVE to dial in the suspension on that standard model.

8-10 miles on pavement even at the Florida speed limit is PLENTY to warm the tires up, it aint the 1980s anymore lmao......Also good brake pads, Gabro Upmap/flash, and suspension setup(just adjusting it) turns these into SOOO MUCH smoother of bikes, and a LOT more power! Transforms the bike quite a bit
😲😲 say what!!! You've never heard of Metzler's. Metzler's are the brand I run on my triumph rocket iii they are top grade and very expensive tires. They last way longer than any other brand of tires. On a bike that has 163lbs of foot torque
In my opinion you really should get a 2024 gsxr600 for a track bike. It's the smallest, lightest 600cc bike and it handles so good it's unbelievable. I have a 2024 gsxr1000 and my wife has a 2024 gsxr600 and her bike is the perfect track bike. No abs, no traction control, no wheelie control, no computer aids and everything is flush from the factory and the blinkers are incorporated with the rear view mirrors so all you have to do is remove 2 bolts per mirror and the bike is ready for the track. Very nice

If you test rode a Kawasaki Zx6r 636 within any of the years of 2013-2024 “although 2013-2018 is the best gen” to see if it could possibly be in the runnings for the next new *Track bike* . . 👀🤞🏽😁 Lol I know its a longgggggg shot & it ain’t the most expensive of all bikes…But my guy, give it a chance bro.💯 with you being a bigger guy, I think it would be a perfect fit for you, for your track days! If not, a Gsxr 750.🤔
