My newest vehicle project! 1991 Jeep Wrangler, hard top, 5 speed, 2.5 L, (started as a) TOTAL SHIT BOX! Follow my progress as I clean, repair and upgrade this Jeep! I paid $2,000.00 for this Jeep when the average Wrangler YJ sells for over $5,000.00 in the San Diego area.
The lift size and brand are unknown, but it looks like a 4" total lift. The tires are 31", but I plan to install a larger lift with 33" tires. The Jeep came with the transfer case drop.

The Jeep now has ProComp shocks, 33x12.5x15 ProComp MT2 tires and 15x8 ProComp black "steelie" wheels. - Krátké a kreslené filmy
I love that look of the 1991 YJ JEEP WRANGLER. The balance and the proportion of the body design are so perfect and they suit my taste. I want to own one like that someday.

Yeah, this seems to be the right combination. It's my third Wrangler with this set up.

Yeah i was actually able to find one for a pretty good price but it needs a lot of work done haha Hopefully the journey to fix it up isn't too bad.
Sweet YJ! I've always wanted one but I got myself a K5 Blazer instead.
I would be so happy with that Jeep. The only things I would change (if it was mine) would be to fix the heater core and add air conditioning. Otherwise, it's gorgeous!!
Those seats are the best part if you ask me.
They don't look out of place. Jeep made black seats with JEEP printed on them over and over in the same style, just slightly differently done.
I probably only think it's cool because I have a YJ and a 928.

i have a '92 YJ as well...was a 5 spd 2.5l as well, and on 33" tires...i like the proportions, but the power/speed was a concern for me...in the middle of an LS swap and converting to an AX15 trans.

I have the exact same steering wheel in my 92'. My steering column broke and the nicest parts car I could find was a set of keys on a floorboard. The steering column I did find works with the welded steering wheel. But I lost my intermittent wipers. It's the only option I had other than a hard top..
That Saginaw column was so flimsy!

Nice job! Id stick with the sport roll bar! Love the look of those. I have a TJ and I’ve never liked the look of the family roll bar. But that’s just my opinion. Your Jeep looks great!

Assuming you haven't re-geared, how much have these 33 tires hurt your power? I have a 95 YJ 4 banger with 30s and I'm lucky if I can hit 70 mph flooring it. :P
Blame Truth: The Original Commentator correct. The gears are still factory, as far as I know. I'm not too concerned about its speed since I rarely drive it on the freeway.

You got your audio player in without cutting your dash panel. What mount are you using to make that happen?
narles25 correct. I just used the stock mount that came with this stereo. It was pure luck! It fits perfectly without any trimming.

Tanner Rauschenberger check the playlist for videos on the painting. I wasn’t great at labeling them back then, but you will find them. That console was homemade and came with the Jeep.

Looks awesome ,im redoin an 87,today shocks n boomerang shckles today ,well shackles on but cant line up holes on leafspring ,by the way was shackles part of yours ,did u have a tech for lining leafsprings?

you can cut diamond plate (or any aluminum) with a regular wood cutting band saw/blade. I do it all the time...cuts like butter. After awhile just get a new blade (a wood-cutting blade). Also can use a regular carbide saw blade (in a table saw or chop saw) to cut aluminum but wear safety glasses or a face shield. Much cheaper than paying someone else to cut it for you. You can bend the diamond plate around pipe to get a curve and use a mallet if needed etc....don't be a city boy.... do it yourself! Geeze it's amazing how many guys pay others to do easy shit.

Julian Salazar simple. Just clean them then spray paint them with flat or satin spray paint from the hardware store.

Santa Moon.tech they are just generic 6x9 boxes that came with the Jeep. I think you can even find them at Walmart

What did you use on the roll bar?
Jacob Smith to paint the padding? I used the rustolium for plastic. It worked great! I used semi-gloss with a fog of flat over it to take away some of the shine.

My buddy Sam got the same mirrors for his TJ, same complaint, as soon as you start to roll they vibrate like mad. Makes you a little less likely to gett pulled over though.

Dimitri Sevastos they're a lot of fun, and parts are inexpensive and everywhere. Rust can be a problem depending on where you live. They hold their value like crazy.

Dante Romeo home made and it came on the jeep when I bought it.
And what is the brand on the fixed seat bracket?
Dante Romeo they are the factory Jeep brackets with two pieces of flat steel for each seat. Just drill offset holes to mate the two. Very easy.
