Thanks. People usually say that they don't have "time" to "create" content for "BOTH" but the truth is, as you said, you don't have to create content, you can just document it. And honestly, Snapchat and Instagram are the most user friendly platforms for "Documenting", hence creating content. Gary, you give real good industrial insights about Social and I appreciate it because it's real and honest and not sugar coated so we know what we're really in for. I appreciate it and that is the real value you give to me, making me imbibe it as I embark on my journey as an Entrepreneur.

Why do people ask that question? If you are doing something on digital platforms, wouldn't you go for all the REALLY big ones? I'm not even in advertising and I know the answer is both. You go where the attention is, and it's on both platforms at the moment.

So let me share something, I am 16 from India and run Startup Archive.
Sometimes it gets difficult for me to manage a lot of Social Networks due to my Studies, so I simply have started used Backend CMS like Buffer and Crowdfire to manage my Website + Instagram + Twitter + Facebook. BOOM! There you go, a solution to everything exists!

Dear Mr. Vaynerchuk, I have looked into Snapchat for my Kitchen and Concrete Construction Company but it seems really alien to me. Googled a couple how to's and such and everything seems very vanilla and generic. Two quick questions for you or anyone else that may read this. Do you consider SnapChat something I should invest in being in the construction industry? Second, is there a no nonsense definitive guide whether written or video that is recommended?

Grandhour Studios in real estate i think it is even more prevalent the lack of disrespect for working hard everyday. If you are not working today. You will not be getting a commission 6 months from now. This is not a scalable game for most. The rewards are high each close but it takes a long game mindset. Same for your business?

Do you feel that Snapchat and Instagram should be used in B2B marketing? If I'm marketing to a technical IT audience at F500 companies, are these channels still valid?
They are definitely different but may not be as effective unless you find the other end of the avenue to the company you are getting at. Does that make sense? Also the traditional cold call will never die out to get in front of them. Never. LinkedIn messaging and finding out the organizations they follow or groupd they are in can work to market to them or get a solid message out.
Respectfully disagree. Instagram first, build your audience there. You can't build an audience on Snapchat unless you transfer it from another platform. Both in the end, but Instagram in the beginning.

I still see zero reason to use snapchat to grow a business. We want to attract new people and snapchat does not enable that. I get the same functionality using Instagram stories. From a small biz perspective, snapchat is a waste of energy. What snapchat really is is a way to allow big brands like CNN to market to niche pockets and develop some glasses while completely skipping the everyday person who is not a super attractive 17year old beauty vlogger. But a useful tool for growth....hahaha....

Some random thoughts,
I'm not trying to diss Gary, but I think he's kinda overhyped in media/business. Although I think he has many extremely good points (of which I think should be seriously considered and applied in every fucking company). Idk how what he is saying is not common sense to you guys, whatever. Here's my thing.
I don't think you should try to become like him, not even close. I know he says he is happy, he is truly not. I think he is lying to himself, which kinda defeats his "self-awareness" argument. I mean, just by the tone of his voice, energy, his eyes, I mean wtf. This man is clearly not happy. (he takes life too seriously, no sense of humour or wit, lol sorry Gary, still love ya) And I don't think you should (if you are young man) give up parties, girls, going out or whatever. You don't have to become a millionaire ( think he says that lol). Just relax, do go university or not, doesn't' matter. But please do read. I know Gary is not a vast reader, but you should f%&king read ok. I know school has not been good for him, neither has for me, but education, formal on informal, you should not neglect. Don't just do, fuckin think about it first. But also relax, there is no point in buying/owning Jets, but having a mental breakdown at 50s. Who the hell want's to own Jets anyways? Whatever.
Even if I am wrong, let me ask you this.
How many Gary Vs do you think are out there that didn't make it? The ones who didn't buy the Twitter, the ones who bought some other random shit stock and lost money. The ones you did not or will never hear about because they did exactly the same as this guy, but got hit by a car at 28 or some other random shit. Life is more about luck than one would realise. So please enjoy your time with your friends and family, don't just hustle for the fuck of it. Go do stupid shit, get drunk, have origies on a beach, try shit out, fuck up. Read Hemingway lol.
