Some of the books and work by Paul Gipe might be of interest in this regard.

100% agree! If you want a real insight into the market for small wind turbines, stick to Paul Gipe. His work is so important. Highly recommend this video with Rosie and Paul: czcams.com/video/6vb18oXPli4/video.html

Please do a review on Flower Turbines. It's a vertical-axis wind turbine that has raised several millions of dollars from investors.

plain physics will tell you all you need to know, they don't have enough swept area.

    Grazie.
It's a pleasure to follow you on your channel, I recently subscribed. I wanted to buy a wind turbine to support my photovoltaic system during times of low sunlight or at night. After following your suggestions, I feel confused and no longer know which option to consider. I would like to point out that the blade should be positioned on my building, where the wind usually blows at a speed between 4 and 10 meters per second. It is essential that it is quiet enough. I hope this information helps you make the right choice. Thank you.

*All practical tests show that small wind turbines hardly generate any electricity. And only at costs above 1$/kWh!*
There is hardly any wind near the ground. And it is also very gusty, which extremely reduces the lifetime of the turbines.
If you don't have to be self-sufficient in electricity, you shouldn´t use small wind turbine, but install solar panels.
*With solar panels, you can reliably generate electricity for about 3-10 cents/kWh over a period of 25 years!*

There are many suitable locations for small wind turbines. However, these are not in residential areas, but in the countryside. The decisive factor is the free flow from the main wind direction. More on this here: czcams.com/video/Jswyg_z725A/video.html

@@WindSunWisdom The MOST DICISIVE factor: Electricity yield increases with the third power of the wind speed. 100% more wind = 800% more electricity. And close to ground there is hardly any wind - and extremely gusty. Which usually greatly reduces the service life of the wind turbine.

Horizontal Axis Wind Turbine 25 mph wind you may get 2-5 watts from a 400 watt turbine there shit. it will never charge a 12 volt battery. 2-3 volts ac. you never get pay back of fan and mask. wait for the windmill fan that thhey do not said 400 watt ebay and others is max wind speed. over 100 mph

just set it towards the west, the predominant source of wind, let me tell you you dont want to take any of the east wind, theres only a limited amount of precipitation left in the future, healthy and not, and the people are doing really badly - just set it to the west and on the ground in a shelter, wind tunnel, conservation

Everyone has to look for their region where the main wind direction is.

yeah a smaller one, not a 5 meter one, i cant believe youre trying to sell 5m rotor turbines on youtube, should barely be selling 2m 1s, crazy, or maybe i can believe it if you are a common community demon taking advantage of people at any opportunity: NOISE POLLUTION -- i'll tell you i put one on the ground on a stump and it does great, not hooked up to a generator though, and there was a vicious dog around one day looking to get at me after i used a chainsaw for hours in my yard, it was sent to bite me and then it investigated the running turbine and it might have gotten hit, which would be devastating if true, and protect me from its vicious bite, and i havent seen it again - so don't try and put your hand into a running wind turbine - can't be sure if you really know it or not but i'm not too worried

I am an independent expert and author focused on small wind turbines. I do not sell wind turbines. Here you can find honest information on the topic. That's why I say clearly when a small wind turbine makes no sense. For example, if you have a location with too little wind.
