Shane Dugan i get what you’re saying they didn’t have outside bad influence but sometimes the fact that they never went outside much and couldn’t have fun and explore might make them bitter and sad or mad...but hopefully they turn it around and enjoy the rest of their lives. I wish them the very very best

Wonderful mother raised such wholesome children inspite of the circumstances. She deserves so much more praise than she gets. M glad d boys recognize n appreciate her endless efforts.. instead of blaming her for not doing anything sooner. I hope they find all the treasures that the world has to offer. N not get disillusioned by the ugly side of humanity.. which they will eventually come face to face with.
I touched on this documentary by accident and so overjoyed that I did. Their mom, living in this situation, is totally amazing along with her children she raised.
As a kid I was very isolated too. I watched movies all day and night for years ... I did it alone though. So in a way u guys are very lucky u had each other

God bless these kids.. Mannnnn if i was rich i would reach out to these brave men right away. Not only do i applaud their courage but NOT also killing their dad or seeking some revenge like some privileged kids do nd they grew up poor. Wow.. Such beautiful hearted kids. I truly wish nd hope the best for them

I really like them after I watched their first story and then I wanted to see another again of them. Its great how they behave & speak even after got locked for years

I guess because he didn't physically hurt the kids. He just kept them- like locked up from the world. I don't know, why, really...
And he did take them to the Dr and dentist at their mother's insistence. They were well nourished and educated. They also were physically as active as kids could be in such tight quarters. So as awful as it was to confine them, he wasn't found to have legally abused them. .@@smileyface8832

they are such a very handsome boys, and good thing is though they were isolated for years but they still managed to communicate with the people normally,,,and most of all they are raised very well by their mom
Mount Tain they weren't completely isolated. they said they did go out few times in the summer.

For who has been emotional tortured & mistreated by their monstrousness father, since he has been painted in that way, a father who did not allowed them to have any contact with anyone from the outside world, they seem to have the best communication skills, even better than the finest & well educated people!
Something tells me that the story hasn’t been told with the complete truth.
I have watched their documentary & their interviews several times & found facts that makes me think that there is some deegre of exaggeration.....
I feel very sorry for all of them, including both of their parents, because most of time, when parents do harmful things to their children, is with best intentions, not wanting to hurt them at all.
One thing to learn from this story is to never have children if one of the two aren’t emotionality & financially stable. Or if their culture, customs & believes are going to negatively impact the life of my kids. Hopefully they have found understanding & forgiveness for their father as well. Forgiveness is a gift from God to freedom our own selves.
These guys remind me of the Reservior Dogs. And, when the first brother first broke free, he kind of reminded me of that 17 year old daughter Jordan Turpin, when she first broke free.

There seems to be one or two missing. They say 6 brothers but in the other video they seemed to say 8. The first born had something wrong so maybe is in a special place being looked after or maybe the mother is looking after her. ???

Agree. It's a bad neighborhood..he kept them alive. The only thing he did wrong was not taking them on outings...he could have went with them and took them out often. That was laziness probably. Or drunkenness...
