Mam i had a doubta, im currently pursuing master's first year and im in second semester, candidates pursuing or appearing masters also eligible to apply ugc net but i need to choose result awaited category and it shows i need to complete my masters with 55% within 2 years from the date of declaration of NET result... but in this recent UGC update phd score option is also available and they shows the validity of the phd score is 1 year only. So if I applied to category 1 phd+jrf+Assistant professor... and if i qualified then the validity of phd score will gone? Then i need to take re examination for phd? Or it is also activates after my master's completion?

Minimum qualification to become assistant professor is MSC+Net. Also, PhD is desirable but not mandatory.
