Any way to get the brick to see the rotations on the display. The view just locks in on "0"

I was trying to do software update on my nxt v1.0 a few years ago and it got interrupted.
No display and weird bouncing sound happens when i try to boot it. İt also connects and immediately disconnects from my pc.
What can i do?
