tysm for this video! I am a complete beginner in gamedev and I actually got into it because my first game idea was an isometric game. I dont know anything about graphics nor programming but this is helping so much
This tutorial is very good and you actually make sure to tell us why we do something instead of just telling us to do something and no teach us why we do those things. UR THE BEST
Amazing tutorial that covers all the important bits for a basic game, well done
This is the best and the most straightforward tutorial on youtube for Isometric 2D. If you're a beginner, I'd recommend changing the playback speed of this video to 0.75 and folow along
OMG. You explain perfectly what I was searching for hours!!!
Thanks a lot. After some videos, the isometric style seemed rather intimidating, but now it is more relaxing.
Hey there, nice video! Thanks a bunch for making it, been a while I touched unity and i am really happy they added this new tile-based feature!
Wow.Never see detailed video before. Keep working sir
By far the most comprehensive and clear tutorial I have found so far. Thank you
Thanks so much for these videos! Very detailed and easy to understand :) Much appreciated.
Thank you very much for the tutorial, it's great, I have a problem when I finish my isometric scenario and I hit play, 510 setpass calls, 550 batches and 22k trins appear. How can I reduce them to improve the fps ?. I downloaded the sprites and they don't come in an atlas, can that be?
Awesome tutorial, really appreciate it!
How would I pull off elevations like that, but with hex tiles
thank you for making this video! :) you are the best!
Thanks you mate. You really helped me to understand this. ;)
Can your player move behind tiles like stand behind one of those hills
If you found some stranges black dots between tiles, making sure you have installed package 2D pixel perfect and pixel perfect camera component to the camera. This solution has provided by Vova Glushkov from comments. Very appreciate. 😉
Hey guys. In this tutorial, I used the official asset sprites which all of the sprites' size is 64 * 64. If you choose to use your own sprite and want your single image can match with one standard unit in Palette Window, You can watch this Solution that you must Change the Pixels Per Unit in Import setting.
I don't know why, but when I put the composite collider on the tilemap, the shape of the collider is wrong
