Nuzlocke rules:
Fainted Pokemon must be permanently boxed
Only the first encounter on any given route may be caught (dupes clause)
All pokemon must be nicknamed
Hardcore Rules:
Always Set mode
No items from the bag option in battle (held items are ok)
No overleveling the next gym leader

The idea of a nuzlocke is to do it your own way. It's a self imposed challenge, it doesn't make it any more or less of a nuzlocke if you do or don't do a specific thing. But imo, yeah I like nuzlockes that do post game more than just victory road

To add on incase antler sees this, if you terra into the same type ie. Quaxley teras into water, the boosts stack into x3 damage
@nickinator1350 It's *2 as it's an increase from 1.5 though it does mean that a supereffective hit is 4* damage

Our worst fears seem to have been realized: They worked on the story and made us feel feelings.
The story in these games are far superior to the others, it really hit me in the feelings in each main storyline. I've seen it said that if they were given more time for graphics and optimization with level scaling, it would easily be the best. But personally as someone who doesn't mind graphics or the bugs (in a normal playthrough I experienced none) I think it's absolutely one of the best or even the best for the story alone.

Finally a Nuzlocker who recognizes the Flamigo superiority early game.
Charcadet is special or physical depending on its form. For Scarlet a modest nature works out while Violet benefits from an Adamant nature
I guess that makes sense. I was hoping Ceruledge was a special attacker but like… it’s made of swords, of course it’s physical

There is a lot of stuff you can do with this, but mostly-with most walls- you get close to the wall so your touching, then flip your camera 180 degrees or so you are facing the same direction as the wall. Then push ZL, you can see through the walls. PLEASE SHARE

Yeah, Skeledirge lived Quaquaval’s attack because Skeledirge has like 100 Base Defence and 104 Base HP, so the thing is monstrously tanky

All the nature changing mints are available at the Chansey supply shop after you get the 6th gym badge.
I love the concept of Rhyme's gym it's like Opals but benefits from both sides getting boosts making the fight harder if you tend to fall being but allows you to be the one powering up as well. Also wow kind of was expecting you to enjoy Dudunsparce design seeing how similar it was but then again maybe that was the issue either way to each their own.
this has to be the best Pokemon Scarlet and Violet nuzlocke ever made

I actually love the new dunsparce evolution... It's just so funny to me. I would rather them not try and end up with this then them try and end up with something worse.
I was attempting to avoid SV spoilers until I got the game but with Antlerboy playing it, I just HAVE to watch it!
Least he only showed one story in this vid which was the classic league challenge so not much was spoiled

The order of the gyms you did was like on Bulbapedia. I think I'll call that the set order which I'll be doing in my playthrough of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet (I picked Violet). Also, I have some corrections for you. The word "rouge" in the name "Armarouge" is actually pronounced as a French word meaning red. Grusha, the Ice-Type Gym Leader is male.

Here is an awsome idea for nuzlockes for these games:
1 encounter for every think maked on the map, means 1 starter, 8 pokemon for every badge, 5 for Team Star, 5 for gigants and 1 for top 4. Idk if that's too much but it seems cool. You could also limit the about of encounters at a time time to, each time you finish something, you Gent a encounter.
For your next challenge I would recommend a grass nuzzlocke, I did that for my first run and it was HELL.
The early game is full of resistances and there is not much type coverage

Terastalization doesn't actully take away the STAB boost on moves. Apart from changing the defensive typing to only the Tera type, it just either grants a third STAB or increases the STAB boost from 1.5x to 2x depending on if the Pokémon's Tera type is the same as one of its regular types or not.

Agreed I didn't look up anything, caught everything, battled every trainer, and used the same 8 mons the whole time so I was at least 5 levels higher at the champion gauntlet without meaning to grind. I really wish you could turn the exp share effect off :/ Honestly the toughest battle for me was damn Arven cause I beat the Titan path first, his whole team was 10+ levels higher than mine XD

Yeah so I sadly didn’t know there was an actual gym order so after the first gym I went to the fourth gym (water gym) and fought and beat until I realized. I was like shocked how high it was until I figured out what happened
Did that with my third gym battle. Ended up battling the eighth gym leader by accident

I've watched a lot of these Nuzlocke's and I gotta say, you put on quite the show dude. That's why I'm suggesting that the next run you should try should be a Scarlet Grass type run. Even if you do a different one, it'll still be a great show nonetheless. Keep up the awesome work man.(Also, props for the great rap dude)
Id love if GameFreak made a pokemon game where they combine all the current regions and have everthing mixed together. All pokemon, all items, all starters, dynamaxing, mega evolutions, terastallizing, catch chains, open world, all elite fours. I would love that.
Yeah that'd be insane if showdown is anything to go by everything combined would be hectic. I'd love to see what the plot would be though also I bet it'd be a mess to balance level caps they still haven't mastered normal level caps as is :P

great one! one thing i noticed u said sudowodoo hadnt stab form rock throw, and thats not working like that, pokemon which tera only lose his defense type, they preserve the stab from his original types, if it gets a new typer they ill get 1.5x but if they choose an old type ill be 2x

I did a nuzlocke with only canine/puppy Pokémon. I don't like this gen's starters and there are so many new puppies to choose from so I decided to play Pokémon scarlet with only dog Pokémon.
Arcanine [All time favorite Pokémon! (have one in every game)], Lucario, Lycanroc, Dachsbun, Houndstone and Mabosstiff. Had to grind a bit to complete the pokedex and to level them to mid 90's but in the end they were unstoppable!
I'm happy u used cyclizar till the end. It's my favorite pokemon.
