I love restoring vintage odds and ends. What antique do you want to see Restored?

Nice restoration of this old tool, as is the problem with many of our specialty tool's, use them once and put them away for many years. Then comes time to need this tool again and you either struggle through or you find a friend like this guy to help you out. Nice work thanks for sharing.
i always love watching these videos. he does such a good job
I’m glad for restoration
Would not have imagined the end from The pile of rust from the thumbnail ! Amazing.
Love the magic, cool work, and a cool tool too ............
Many parts for Ridgid vises and tristands are still available as they're so widely popular so if you find an incomplete one don't toss it.
I guess your friend was thrilled 👍
Besides the 2 washers on the 2last screws that you forgot to put it backs, a perfect Job!!! I’ll give you 9.7🎉🎉🎉🎉
I bolted one of these to a piece of plate and a piece of 2" square to attach a pipe vise to my truck hitch recepticle. It worked like mad. I could thread 2" pipe off of it. Then one night, I was walking around the truck and caught my shin on it. That night, I beat that vise within an inch of its life. Two days later I was rear-ended at a stop light and the vise was imbedded into a Mercedes front bumper. I never missed it.
Nice refurbishing project. It looks good and functions like new... Thumbs Up!
Very good work ❤💯
Excellent restoration as usually. You have returned this good tool to life. Thanks for sharing!

I was stupidly pleased to see the return of the hand slap tool summon. Even if it went a bit wonky.
I think you meant “ridiculous,” but awesome vid! Impressive magic skills nonetheless. :)

Very cool.
OUTSTANDING job! You took a rusty, seized up vise and made it look brand-new. What is the bluing solution that you used, and do you need to let it cure in oil for 24 hours?
There is an old way to restore the chain - boil it in oil. Of course after possible cleaning from rust.
Interesting instrument, excellent restoration. Like.
Great Job and restoration 👍👏
Congratulations and Greetings from Belgium 😉🇧🇪👋
Nice restoration. You have done a fantastic job 😍😍
I’m in the process of restoring my ridgid chain vise for work I don’t have a sand blaster how would I get the old paint off and prime it so to speak?
Excellent work. Getting very close to 100K subscribers! Nice!
I like knowing this will be used.
6:52 this method is genius
I like watching your channel, you are funny . Always excellent work on the restorations too! ❤👍
Not a tool one would use every day, but when you need it you need it.
I had one of your videos waiting in my watch later playlist for seriously at least a year because I knew I wanted to watch it but I just hadn't yet been Ready™️. however, today my brain was finally ready and this is now officially a full day binge watch because I love restoration videos and yours are really interesting and entertaining! thank you for sharing your work with the world :)
Thank you so much for binging my videos. I’m glad you’re entertained!
Really nice job 😊
Wow, you definitely put some hours into polishing it. Well done 👌
Excelente
Very nice
what was that appliance/machine you used to help get the deep rust off the chain?
thats an ultrasonic cleaner i think
@@ginax985 Yep. Vibrates extremely quickly to release contaminants from the surface.
Cleaned up very nice, tell your friend don’t let tools get wet .makes them hard to work with and they don’t taste that good.good video as always.just keep doing what your doing.should have soaked the chain in oil though.kudos 👍👍👍😎😎😎
MASTERPIECE|
That tool will still be useful after you and your friend are gone. Lovely work!
Sweet
like most people, I would have thrown that away..... glad you did see it had to be saved.. thnx...
Nice
Also, CoQ10 and Chondroiton for your joints will help. 10 years working orthopedic surgery. It's what we told all of our patients that were having that issue in their joints, especially knees and elbows
Perfeito
2:03 - Ridiculous, not rediculous. 😊
The magic wanted to show off lol
GooD)))))))
Класс 👏👏👏
Эти видосы, мое снотворное.
If the ridgid d & g make a diamond, you have a very old piece
Круто
👏👏👏👏
👍👍👍👍
“It’s perfect”
Alguém mais usa esses videos pra dormir?
i think a wire brush will work better than a screw driver.
А сразу цепь положить откисать, релия не позволия?
What was the blue chemical you used to turn everything black? Also, what was that device you cooked the chain in?
Долго в химии вымачивал для такой коррозии? Видно что недавно подвергалась обработке перекисью водорода.
Great Restoration but it's Ridgid Red not Ridgid Orange :P They're not the same Company
Very cool restoration, but am I the only one who didn't get the "black soul" joke?
I don't see recovery.
but I see a good job of cleaning and painting!
👏👏👏🥰
👏👍👏👍👏👍👏👍👏👍👏👍👏👍
What do you call an advertisement for a vise. An Advise…
Do you think it’s vise to come up with dad jokes in this channel?
You 10:32 forgot the washers.
Yes he did, I knew there was something different. Lets hope things don't come loose at a critical time
Опять в КФС носили жарить.
