LIRR Plasser American TC82 Inspection Vehicle Passing Over The Nissequogue River • 04/17/2023

this was taken on my way home from doing something in the area. i saw it had reported just west of Stony Brook at STONY 1 while i was just up the road, and i decided to pull into this little park I've never been to on the Nissequogue River in Smithtown just west of the station and film it. i apologize about the first 45 seconds being basically nothing, i didn't know exactly when it would pass thru and how fast it would be going. this steel trestle was presumably built in the late 1920s to replace a wooden one from the 1800s.
