Back when I was 11 yrs old in 2005 I was watching a Barcelona game and Ronaldinho was the sensation in that time everybody was talking about him . And I remember that before going to school I would wait for my friends to walk together to school my school time was from 12:30 pm to 6:05 pm and after watching Messi play I was shocked like something wouldn't get of my mind so I was quite and lock in my thoughts 💭 and walking to school my friend asked me "hey you good?" And I was like "aah what ?" And he was like "dude you haven't say a single word " and I responded "did you watch the game ?" And he said "no who won ? " I said "Barcelona ... But dude that kid Messi he is something else he is playing with PROS the best of the best and he made them look like regular players he is so simple so basic no magic but 100% accuracy the magic Ronaldinho produce is the smile he puts on people's face after some fancy dribbling skills but watching Messi is like watching a soccer hacker on the field . Like his style is left ,right , faint , wall passes , fake ,fake ,fake then shoots and score is so simple and so repeatedly but it always works . The biggest reason for being more of a Madrid legend than a barca legend is joining Madrid after Barca. Btw fans have seen him play in Madrid 2002-2006/7 than in barca in 95/96.

The thing is, Ronaldinho got the standing ovation cause of the protests and distress between board and fans back in the time, Iniesta received it cause he always had a soft spot for being a SPANISH legend who was always praised by all of our spanish coaches and players and Piero was never a direct rival to us.

turns out that’s not the case at all, which explains only 4 players in history have such honor in Clasico despite either side fielding legends after legends from time to time. 3 of which were Barca players, so fair to say Madridistas actually have shown more courtesy than Cules in that matter.

I cannot compare Messi and Ronaldo. They are both my all time GOAT.But I know football is boring with out Ronaldo .When Ronaldo score the goal he moves the crowd like a tsunami. Back in 2012 I get why Marcelo said Messi was the best as Ronald really wasn't in the GOAT debate then. Messi had just won 4 straight Ballon d'Ors and had dominated and perfected football with Pep & Tiki-Taka and was in the process of scoring 91 Goals & 21 Assists (122 G/A in 69 Games = Averaging 1.77 G/A per Game) in that calendar year.
Whilst CR7 had 1 Ballon d'Or to his name and it came 5 years prior whilst he was at UTD with stats that were middling at best (35g & 12a = 47 G/A) that year.
Oh yes he is the best of all time the guys are just being honest 🙂
