    Lyrics:
We snuck in to see the band
    Falling Joys, The Clouds
    A killer double bill ‘91
    Never heard guitar so loud
Suzie Higgie, Jodi Phillis, Trish Young
    Turned things upside down
    Underage in Adelaide
    I stood up front head-banging
    Hit a speaker
    Knocked myself out
    When I came to
    I was changed
You kicked the door wide open
So I could walk onto that stage
    Underrated, overlooked
A woman’s work is never done
Or it’s erased from history books
    Nothing against Paul or Nick
But if you want to be remembered
Then you better have a dick *
This clip was filmed on Wurundjeri and Boonwurrung land. Their sovereignty over this land has never been ceded.
*Dyson Stringer Cloher would also like to acknowledge that gender must never be reduced to genitalia. The final line in this song should read "then you better be on the right side of the patriarchy". We felt the larger discussion around women and gender non conforming artists' erasure and the stark absence of the equivalent poet laureate in Australian music was worthy of further consideration.

Jen's second reference to cross dressing in a song as far as I know. Awesome x

Omg my fave bands. Falling joys and clouds. Stand the test of time. And a bit of hummingbirds. You got the sound just right. Never understood the way Dave graney and The like get constant gigs invites on radio etc while the real talent barely gets a look. I’d love to interview all these ladies about their guitar rigs. How they started writing etc.

Love this. It really captures the spirit of the Clouds in the 90s. Still some of the best live gigs I've ever attended. And like Molly would have said, do yourselves a favour and catch them again as they're occasionally coming out and playing acoustic gigs around the traps. Saw an awesome intimate one with along with Suzie Higgie in Canberra recently.

the song and the video are the ripper! first i thought it sounded like The Amps too much, but now i'm digging it. also, great lyrics! the only downside for me really is the line with the d*** coz you can't always give the explanation you've given here.
