- Il Carnevale storico di Verrès (AO), rievoca una vicenda realmente accaduta intorno al 1450.
Nel giorno della Santissima Trinità, la contessa Caterina di Challant e il marito Pierre d'Introd uscirono dal castello (ripreso nelle prime sequenze del video), scesero nel paese di Verrès e si unirono al popolo a festeggiare, conquistando in questo modo le simpatie dei sudditi in un periodo di lotte di potere.
Il momento culminante dei festeggiamenti è il ballo in piazza, durante il quale Caterina, annunciata da squilli di trombe e rulli di tamburi e accolta al grido "Vive Introd et Madame de Challant", danza con un giovane popolano.
The Historic Carnival of Verrès (AO), evokes an event that really happened around 1450.
On the day of the Holy Trinity, the Countess Catherine of Challant and her husband Pierre d'Introd left the castle (filmed in the first sequences of the video), went down to the village of Verrès and joined the people to celebrate, thus winning the sympathies of the subjects in a period of power struggles.
The culminating moment of the celebrations is the dance in the square, during which Catherine, announced by the blast of trumpets and drumbeats and greeted with the cry "Vive Introd et Madame de Challant", dances with a young commoner.

Non so se ti è capitato di vederlo di persona ma questa rappresentazione è davvero molto bella da vedere. Noi siamo stati più volte e quest'anno, a causa del COVID, invece che farla durante il periodo di carnevale l'hanno fatta a maggio.
@@massimo_c2668 No, non ci sono mai stato a Verrès. Sono stato invece al Palio di Asti, anche quello coi costumi antichi e molto folcloristico. Magari a Verrès ci andrò l'anno prossimo . . .

Carissimo Massimo, vedo un costante miglioramento nei tuoi filmati; mentre i primi erano solo risultanti da riprese aeree ora vedo che stai sempre integrando il volo con riprese con go pro, rendendo il tutto molto ben "raccontato".
