The Ravens will give them a challenge. Let’s just hope for a good game so we can enjoy SNF.
Nerd 0208 well said

I’ll come back to this comment after the game lol
Ravens vs pats one of the most underrated rivalry’s of the past 10 years
Yeah this game and the 2011 and 2012 AFC Championship games were incredible
Sam Munoz and the 2014 divisional, maybe my favorite game I’ve ever seen
2012 when Tucker won the game with the field that made the league raise the field goal post
In the playoffs for sure.
Pats have dominated the regularseason.
Agreed!
Can’t believe NFL Throwback overlooked this, but during this game ESPN showed a graphic that the pats had the fewest offensive possessions through eleven games and still scored a touchdown on 50% of their drives. That’s one of the most mind blowing stats ever.
50% is “mind-blowing” ? 😂
@@alexi.de.charleYou’re a moron. Teams don’t even score on 50% of their possessions. So yes to have a 50% TOUCHDOWN rate, that’s absurd
@@alexi.de.charle They scored Touchdowns on 50% of their drives
@@alexi.de.charlethat means they averaged a touchdown every 2 drives. That’s insane efficiency
That’s stupidly efficient
As a ravens fan this game officially started our rivalry with New England.
Christopher Moore you sir are correct. I am a Pats fan and I do not like but respect the Ravens.
True. 2 years later they smoked NE 33 - 14 in the playoffs 😂
@@yaahlabanyamyan144 and New England won 3 Superbowls after that 🤣
Christopher Moore y’all were in the same the division until they moved the colts to Indiana.
There's no rivalry! The Patriots own the rat birds
Literally every prime time game this year was must watch
2007 was a great sports year
Fred Leeland except Steelers vs dolphins that year
Damn the first three minutes was highlights of Pat's receivers dropping passes
Cold nights do that.
@@Shatamx ben watson was also good for that...the 1st pass brady sent his way upon returning to action as a patriot in 2019 bounced off his facemask and landed on the ground...im amazed hes hung around this long and done as well as he has since leaving...
That puts a smile on my face.
@@MarylandbronyNot mine, I am very irritated being a Pats fan seeing those drops. I have punched a hole in my wall.
@@greysonG10how did you react when y’all had the biggest choke job in sports history
This is where the Pats-Ravens rivalry started. Right here in this game
2007: The Undefeated Patriots travel to Baltimore in Primetime to face the Ravens wearing their black uniforms
2019: The Undefeated Patriots travel to Baltimore in Primetime to face the Ravens wearing their black uniforms
Gonna be helluva game
History may not repeat itself but it sure does rhyme
@@NFLVault I dont have a dog, bird, Patriot Pat in that game but I will enjoy watching it.
balt will get em this time. I hope not.... go browns
Its tough to beat the refs and the pats
Man, Willis McGahee was underrated af
If he never got hurt in the Fiesta bowl he would have put up much better numbers
No shit ... him and McClain's epic final run in Texas stadium still gives me chills to this day
AF Bro💯
He had a legendary stiff arm
8:34 Willis Mcgahee completely destroys Seau(RIP).
An underrated rivalry. This game in ‘07, 2009 AFC Wild Card, 2011 & 2012 AFC Champ, 2012 Torrey Smith’s legendary game after his brother’s death, crowd chanted bullshit 5x, Tucker’s wacky GW FG; the 2014 AFC Divisional Game, & 2016 Week 14 MNF thriller. These teams should play each other more often. When they do, they r fantastic football games
You said it perfectly. The two best teams playing one another. I also have to say Pittsburgh with Roethlisberger and Indianapolis with Manning were good any mix of those teams against Brady and New England!
The rivalry was more Ed Reed and Ray Lewis vs Tom Brady tbh. Once those guys were gone, so was the rivalry
Don't forget the 2010 meeting
It’s guaranteed once every 3 years but for two years after, their division placements would have to match 1st and 1st, 2nd and 2nd…..or the playoffs.
Fun fact: This is the same ravens team that winless Dolphins beat in overtime to notch the only win of our season
Yup that's the game the officially got Brian Billick fired. That was the death knell.
@@anthonyanderson9303 I had a feeling it would be.
After the patriots game the ravens were deflated after that loss. If ravens win the game Billick keeps his job and the patriots maybe win the super bowl because the pressure to be perfect no longer was there and they could have rested their starters in the last game of the season and played more loose
I believe this is the same Ravens team who lost to Phil Dawson and the Browns Double Doink back into play field goal and lost in overtime to them as well
@@BTLAGS Good point, they most likely felt the pressure of going perfect, so it would have probably been better if they lost, they would have been more loose, very good point!
In retrospect, I believe if Rex Ryan does not call that timeout, 18-1 might have a different meaning.
As a lifelong, diehard Pat's fan, I love that it was Rex that called the timeout. Lol
@MARK lol out yes any player on the field or any of the three coaches can call timeouts what are you smoking
You suck at math unless you're assuming they win the super bowl against the giants
@@eyeconqueror1185 That's exactly what he means.
@@LukeR.5117 so if they were 15-1 they’d automatically beat the giants?
16:55 Patriots are undefeated and Dolphins haven't won a game...
Facts deja vu
@@kaleschulte6755 literally 😂
On top of that the undefeated Patriots are traveling to Baltimore to face the Ravens in their all black uniforms. Complete Deja Vu 😂😂
Don't forget Ben Watson on the Pats
History repeating itself 😰
Damn there’s a lot of star power on that field, all in their primes too. Dope video
The Ray Lewis, Ed Reed, Terrell Suggs led defense vs the 07 Patriots offense was insane. So many legends on both sides of the ball.
The moment they showed Rodney Harrison taunting coach billick and him blowing a kiss at him was pure gold😂
Billick would later kiss his job goodbye as he was fired after the season!! He would never get another head coaching job in the NFL.
@@wilnerolivier7971 he got a job at Bernie and Phil's furniture as a delivery driver but he got fired because he was popping wheelies with the delivery truck and broke alot of furniture, guy just didn't give a shit

"If you lose a game along the way, it doesn't matter, as long as you get there and win the Super Bowl."
Man, this quote really hits different rewatching this game. Another one from the 2007 season that I wish New England had dropped instead of the important one.
Yup, looking back I wish they lost this game. Just like this year I hope they lose to miami or something lol. All.set with 16 and 0
@@blkplaguelmc U mean the Ravens :p
I was looking for this comment I’m so glad I found it😂 but it literally makes you wish they had lost this game instead of the Super Bowl. To this day, I still wish they had won the Super Bowl in 2007.
@@thegrimreapersdarkchild just like the Ravens. Had they lost to Pittsburgh in week 5 and to the 49ers, they'd be the 2 seed, avoid The Titans, stroll past The Texans and we'd get to See a Mahomes vs Jackson AFCCG
We should have lost to the Giants to end the season 15-1. Would have given us the drive to absolutely dominate and still would have been the greatest team ever.
That timeout on the 4th and 1 cost the Ravens the game.
THE_Cali2VA really didn’t notice
No shit
5:27 Ed Reed doesn't fumble. He just laterals to the other team on occasion.
Baltimore probably would have win of it wasn't for eds fumble.
Damn makes the play and than fumbles
Boy do I miss watching Ed Reed and Ray Lewis play!🐐🐐🐐
This was such a great game
Best MNF game ever imo.
Rex Ryan iced his own team out of a win lol... Ravens really should have won this game.
Couple options for this week if you haven't done them already:
Browns-Broncos 1987 AFC Championship (The Fumble)
Cowboys-Giants Monday Night Football, 2003 Week 2 (close entertaining game, Parcells' first season in Dallas)
If only Rex Ryan didn't call that timeout 😢
Darin Berry facts. That made me remember this game.
The eeason he wanted to beat the patriots so bad after that, he could never redeem himself though he'll always be remembered for that timeout
Yep that really changed NFL history
A defensive coordinator can't call a timeout, and the refs knew it, but allowed it to save the Patriots undefeated season.
@@thepurplenest4004 what? Anybody on a team can call a timeout even random players on the field. That's just nonsense to say the refs screwed up at least in this instance

This is the late 2000s. Both were good. Early and late.
jordan5221 the officiating and roger goodell ruined it!
Colby Thedell Honestly the refs are products of roger goodell, it’s way more of his fault. They get confused with all these bs rules and terms that they become trigger happy on flags. Hopefully this will fix itself in the future.

What a blast from the past
Beginning of a great rivalry.. see y’all Sunday my favorite ravens 😅🤣
The 2007 Patriots played in so many excellent games during the regular season, and this was arguably the most intense of those games. The Ravens coaching staff shot themselves in the foot hard on that 4th and 1, I will say, but still a great game.
but when the playoffs kicked in, they started underperforming

One of the first games I really remember when I really got into football. What I saw here made me a forever Ravens Fan 💜🖤
The Ravens played the 11-0 Patriots tuff then lose to the 0-14 dolphins in the same season and why was the ravens so bad that year
Lot of injuries and alot of discord with the coach. That Miami game ultimately cost Billick his job, it was the nail int he coffin. He had lost the team anyway.
As a Browns fan, I feel your pain losing to a bad team. But at least you got Flacco a year after (before he became a journeyman)
@@ck-1649 Flacco was fine the first 5 years. Ironically winning the superbowl mvp was the worst thing that happened cuz then the team had to give him that huge contract that he didn't play up to and it messed the team up.
This game along with loss to Miami brought in Harbs & Flacco next year AFC championship game Changed coach and QB
Brian Billick had lost control of the team. They were good enough to almost beat the Pats when they wanted to, but lacked the discipline to work hard for every game, every week.
This is the game where coach Brian Billick famously blew kisses at Rodney Harrison.

The Ravens are the only NFL Team that can handle New England in Foxborough. Joe Flacco has beat Tom Brady twice in New England, while Big Ben and Peyton never beaten Brady on the road.
Maybe but 2009 was the worst season under bb and 2012 we didn’t have gronk. Would of been a very different game if we did. Still gotta give credit to the ravens though. Even though John harbough might be the biggest whiner in the league.
Peyton has won in Foxborough. He won there in 2005 and 2006
@@dylanpriest9756 peyton won at home in 2006. And peyton never faced Brady in 2005.
Dylan Priest He meant to say in the playoffs
Pretty easy to go on the road when you got one of the greatest defense led by Ray Lewis, Reed and Suggs and win. Flacco had one of the worst game by a QB in 2009 and the Ravens beat the Pats by double digit, Peyton or someone else can't afford that type of game and win. In the Steelers case even with a top 10 D. They can't figure Brady/Pats offense out and Ben play like crap for some reason in those matchup. Peyton vs Brady on the other hand. Both QB needed home field to win against each other. Brady has never beaten Peyton Manning at his turf in the RCA Dome (now Lucas Oil) and Mile High in the playoffs and Manning never has beaten Brady in Foxborough.
Man, I remember watching this game and just being so stoked seeing the relative success that we were having. 2007 was a pretty rough season but this game was definitely the highlight.

I cant believe he caught it at the end though
Losing this game probably would’ve been best for the Pats in the long run. It would’ve taken away the arrogance and them feeling like they’re immortal. Belichick and Brady would take measures to make sure that shit NEVER happens again and then I feel New York wouldn’t have stood a chance
