It’s crazy to think back how much I enjoyed the episodes with callen and how at the earlier days I actually enjoyed the fighter and the kid, and how unbearable they all are now. They have fallen so far that sometimes it’s hard to understand. Especially once you realize the entire downfall was completely self-induced. At this point the most memorable part will be thay we were all able to witness it firsthand and in real-time 🎉🎉
I think a lot of it is influence from all the fun had in the comments and what that reddit has done to them. I don't dislike any of them enough to check anything daily, but some of those guys are so ridiculously committed to seeing people fail and fall. Yet, after you read it, it's hard to ever really take any of them seriously. They're just on so, so much, and they've said so many dumb things. I think the art or what makes it good is the ability to say more funny or interesting things than ridiculous things over time.

Honestly, why has Joe been acting weird the past year or so? Bryan is the same person he's been in past, joking around and playing.. Joe changed, and the chemistry is not the same and very different... now, not hating, we all change.. but IMO if you ask me, Joe has anxiety issues. No idea why. As someone who’s been through the recovery of a severe concussion Joe is right to be mad at Callen for trying to make Brendan fight again. Thankfully I had an almost perfect recovery (thank you Dr. Herring and Dr. Laker you saved my life) but the wrong hit to your head can change your life forever and the more you take the riskier and more severe it gets.
Glad you were able to come back from that. I have also had some TBI's as a soccer player, the worst almost made me medically withdraw from university but I was scared of losing my scholarship so I forced through. I got no REM sleep for two years and constantly wondered if I was in real life or not. People who have suffered concussions know how severe they are. Legitimately change you as a person. I don't like Brendan's comedy, but he doesn't deserve more head trauma.

Most regular people still look at him as someone who could take them on, which he could (and you can tell he loves that). If he gets beat by some CZcamsr or non-fighter (which is even more likely in straight boxing) then he loses a lot of that image, imo

Honestly, why has Joe been acting weird the past year or so? Bryan is the same person he's been in past, joking around and playing.. Joe changed, and the chemistry is not the same and very different... now, not hating, we all change.. but IMO if you ask me, Joe has anxiety issues. No idea why. I think he might have extra stress, or just something happened. I also never watched a Joe rogan podcast since he was on spotify.. However, i am talking about Joe' UFC commentating too. It's like a frog is in his throat, he's not relaxed, he is very careful with his words.. and his fake laughs.. where is years ago, he was natural, fluid, and the laughs seemed real. Now ihs laughs are seemed like a thing to aviod awkwardness, hes got major anxiety IMO. Coming from someone, me, who also has had anxiety.. Anyone else see this or just me?? As someone who’s been through the recovery of a severe concussion Joe is right to be mad at Callen for trying to make Brendan fight again. Thankfully I had an almost perfect recovery (thank you Dr. Herring and Dr. Laker you saved my life) but the wrong hit to your head can change your life forever and the more you take the riskier and more severe it gets.
For reference when I had my concussion I was going into the 8th grade with the mental capacity of a 3rd grader.
Glad you were able to come back from that. I have also had some TBI's as a soccer player, the worst almost made me medically withdraw from university but I was scared of losing my scholarship so I forced through. I got no REM sleep for two years and constantly wondered if I was in real life or not. People who have suffered concussions know how severe they are. Legitimately change you as a person. I don't like Brendan's comedy, but he doesn't deserve more head trauma.

I have some unresolved childhood trauma that I didn't really start resolving until the last few years. As a kid, I dealt with it by hiding it away or ignoring it, but now at 28 years old I'm crying over things that happened when I was 7-14. I am not a big sharing feelings type of guy but the truth is I never felt safe enough to open up and cry as a child. Now, as a father, with a supportive wife, I finally feel like I can let my shoulders drop and let my feelings vent instead of just building up indefinitely.
