    In today's video, I give you 3 Pro Basketball scoring tips to help you instantly make more shots! These simple basketball scoring moves are super easy to implement for players at every level. By implementing these tips into your game you can almost immediately skyrocket your shooting percentage and your overall basketball skill level while scoring more points.
    My first basketball scoring tip is one that I tell a ton of players, and that is to attack closeouts. By determining that you are going to attack the defender who is closing out to you, you automatically put the defender in a tough position. If we look at the elite scorers in the NBA guys like Stephen Curry and James Harden. Those players all take what the defense gives them, they don't predetermine a plays outcome before the play even happens. So if you want to really skyrocket your scoring ability the first step is playing a reactionary style of basketball. Also making sure you are always attacking the closeout defender.
    My second tip to help you instantly increase your ability to score the basketball is to manipulate the defense on the catch! All of the great scorers in the NBA can score in a lot of different ways. So being able to score from the 3 point line to putting the ball on the floor and go past your defender. This is something we see time and time again when scorers really take the next jump in terms of being unstoppable its when they become a more versatile scoring threat. Think of a guy like Stephen Curry who was an all time great shooter but when he took his game to an MVP level it was because he started to drive more which made him so much more versatile as an offensive threat. One major way that NBA player can score so easily it's because they make sure they are manipulating the defender as soon as they catch the ball.
    My last basketball scoring tip is something that is incredibly important if you want to really be able to score like the best players in the NBA. This tip is attacking against the grain! By doing this you are ultimately going to force the defender to sag off of you which will give you an open shot or if he plays tight on you you should be able to take him off the dribble! If you can do that you are literally going to be unstoppable, so it's something that as basketball players we must train for in our preparation implementing scoring drills to become an elite scorer from all three levels of the floor. I like to practice attacking closeouts with live 1 v 1 drills to simulate the look you will get in real games.
    As always make sure you are paying close attention to these basketball scoring tips so when the time comes you can really expand your game to the next level! Watch the video all the way through and implement these scoring moves into your game today!

    • @thatoneguy3253
      @thatoneguy3253 Před 3 lety

      Idk if this is still a problem for you however for me I like to use my arms as for a traditional jumpshot you use your legs to formulate power, however when you do a fade-away your energy isn’t going to the ball it’s going away from the rim. This is why I put more power from my arms on a fade-away and push the ball higher so it falls right in. Try it out at least ten times because I didn’t get the hang of it until a couple attempts
