Hello, I been a victim of a hit and run accident. I did not ride my bike for a month now. But the good part is that I was not completely inactive but in the other hand I was just doing slow walk and later on I being running. Am just scared, will I lose all my fitness?

You are going to want a nice aerobic base. 65 to 70% FTP mostly can dial it in close to your event. But start there. Might be someone with more clout chime in. lol

We would recommend checking out our Gran Fondo training recommendations in this article:

This should answer many of your questions, and address many important topics when it comes to tackling long days in the saddle.

how about during a taper? let's say 2 weeks out from an Ironman event. there is a balance of losing fitness and gaining form. i haven't seen anything built into my training plan to provide guidance on tapering - i've been experimenting at how to approach this.

Weeks 7 and 8 of the Specialty Phase are your taper weeks :) These weeks are designed specifically to reduce your volume while retaining your intensity, which allows you to perform your best on race day.

Thanks for the feedback Yishai. If you would like the talking to happen a little slower, one good option is to slow down the CZcams video to 0.75x speed. This article shows how to change the playback speed on different devices: www.igeeksblog.com/how-to-change-playback-speed-in-youtube/
