No India ink is only good for stick and poke tattoos. Which I stopped giving myself when I was 16. First of all you can get a cheap tattoo machine for five bucks. Second of all small quantities of ink are not expensive. Go ahead and look up tattoo ink. I use Starbright it's expensive and it's used by professionals and it's not too much difference in cost than India ink

As long as your safe you can do it with one seeing needle and India ink. Tattoos are about the experience and the art . I have so many "crappy" tattoos and all them attached to a fun memory. If your happy with your tattoo , that's all that matters.
I got one done in jail and I burned a checker piece and covered it with a cracker box and then scraped the burnt residue from the box and mixed it with a little of shamoo. That's how I made the ink. That was about 18 years ago and I had No medical problems and my tatoos still today look the same. Just definitely dispose ink after use and definitely sterilize your needle. "Which I used a sharpened paper clip". I've seen people use ink after other people and they don't realize that other people"s blood is still in there every time they dip the needle in it. That's why you should make your own and throw it away when finished. Don't even use your own ink later. Make it fresh.

When I was in prison if we didn't snatch a alcohol pad from the nurse we broke off a stick of deodorant and squeezed the piece really tight in a rag and that would cause drops of alcohol to drip out that's all you need is rubbing alcohol and so it is the best ink ever trust me
This is false. If you use pen ink and it goes into the layer of the skin that’s actually where the ink goes then you’ve got a skin eating infection. I saw multiple kids do this when I was locked up, one of them who did multiple small tattoos on his fingers ended up with a very bad infection. Do not risk it. You can get sepsis from this, the ink is not sterile and once it enters your bloodstream you need immediate hospitalization.

One of the bottom two strings, heat it with a lighter or candle while pulling at both ends until a section glows orange, keep pulling then it'll pop and you're left with a sharp tip where it's popped, that's your needle. Bend the not sharp end round the offset on the motor, your machine works.
This is legit. Dip it in ink and go. Just a diff power source. I tripped out first time I seen someone make a tattoo gun in prison. It's diff from this but really it's all the same. Change out your needle and cartridge and sterilize them before use. Your good to go. It doesn't have to be complicated like some people make it out to be. Use your head.

When I connect the wires of my motor to the wires of an adapter it spins so slowly, but if I connect the wires on my motor to a battery it works fine. But I cant just have it connected to a battery because my wires are so short. Do you know how I can fix it? Should I increase the volts on the ac adapter?
I had the same problem.... Mine would barely spin at all!! I just took some speaker wire and put it on the motor.... I just added enough to where it was long enough to use battery's!! It's worked fine since!!

A tip. To give you tighter cleaner lines with homemade machines, only remove the ball from the tip not the whole tip. Use that to guide your needle 👍🏼
