I had a Nokia flip phone, NO Internet on it, and you absolutely could not text someone on these devices. Phones were used for just one purpose and that was to make actual phone calls when you needed to. It was great. Then a few short years later everyone started taking pictures of themselves and putting it all over the internet, Myspace, Facebook. This became the new norm in society and it progressively got worse from there. Sucks how the world and life as you knew it was gone forever.

Class of ‘91 here. I can’t tell you how good those times were. My kids are in high school now and they’re angry, twisted, zoned out from their phones, and delusional about gender identity. They have so many other issues I can’t keep track of. I don’t get it.
