An invocation prayer opens each day. On Day 1 a special opening ceremony will be held, and on Day 5 there will be a concluding session as the mandala is swept away in the traditional manner.
    What is a Sand Mandala?
Sand mandalas are intricate and colorful creations made from sand, traditionally used in Tibetan Buddhist practices. These mesmerizing artworks serve as a visual representation of the universe and a focal point for meditation. The meticulous process of creating a sand mandala involves carefully pouring colored sand through a narrow funnel onto a flat surface. The designs are often geometric and symmetrical, incorporating various symbols and motifs that hold spiritual meaning.
