I recall his sharing on the show that Jennifer was there for them when his mom passed away. She sang at the funeral for free. She's shown she's a giver so it's a good chance she was just there for them to see them through. With her having had the unfortunate experience of having had to bury her mom due to the violence years ago and she could relate to the pain they would have been going through. So, it seems Marlon would understandably have some sort of bond and special friendship with Jennifer. He seems like such a good guy as well.

Hey! It's not just a Virgo thing. I'm a ♋🦀. My family has birthdays within days of holidays. I'm July 7th. My husband is 1 week before Christmas. Our oldest daughter is 1week before Easter and our baby girl is the day after Christmas. All that said, it's a rule I enforce that there must be a birthday gift in addition to the holiday present. It's two different reasons to celebrate and everyone else gets gifts in addition to holiday presents. So it shouldn't be different for us just because our days are in closer proximity.
